Well DS survived on the one beer 😆 The GKs were a bit fractious today, DGD had been to a sleepover and was tired, DGS was feeling off colour and I think DIL had a hangover, she’d been out last night and kept falling asleep 😆 Anyway the curtain pole and voiles are up in the spare room and look great. The GKs wanted me to switch on the treadmill for them but I told them it was broken, could just see them flying off the end of it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Happy Sunday 😎
The dog has been for a good run on the park across the road. There was a football match on so we were confined to the bottom end of the park. Mr SA enjoyed watching some of the match. I didn’t want to go trekking all over today as there’s a lot to do in the garden. Mr SA always wants to go miles away on Sundays but it’s not him who has to do all the walking and still do house/garden jobs. Takes a big chunk out of the day.If I don’t book the holidays today it will be a NSD. Need to book them before the 20th to get the £120 off.
This afternoon will be spent tidying the garden, probably another run on the park for the dog and enough Spanish lessons to keep me out of the demotion zone.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
😳😂😳Hope you told MrSA the same rule will apply to him when he visits ds….only 1 beer 🍻😳

Cleaning out the greenhouse when a huge frog leapt out at me, nearly had a heart attack. Tried to catch it to repatriate to the pond and it squealed at me. Eventually captured it and put it in the pond although it jumped out and is now lurking behind the ferns. No doubt it’s now making its way back to the greenhouse where it was living very happily thank you 😆

Happy Monday, here we are again another new week.
No morning run/walk yet, will take the dog out later to get some steps in and some fresh air. It was really dark and gloomy when I got up and I just didn't feel like going out. Going to have to come up with a plan for the dark mornings. Will do a FitOn workout after work.
Finances done and had a £16.07 underspend last week. £6.07 has gone to the Christmas pot, which is now standing at £524.22. The other £10 has gone to the general spending pot.
Today will be NSD 7/12.
Haven't booked a holiday yet. I'm doing a bit of research into best flight times as some of them land late at night on the way back so weighing up the pros and cons and possibly looking at 8 or 9 nights to get better flight times both ways. Something will be booked this week though.
I think I've decided against moving my desk into the spare room. Although it would be warmer in the winter, I think I'd feel isolated. Mr SA is annoying shuffling back and forth but where I sit now is convenient for getting up and doing odd bits during screen breaks and I enjoy seeing the dog and cat. I think the cons outweigh the pros.
I've had an email from Amazon confirming I'm getting a full refund for the missing bag. Thank goodness for that!
I finished the Duolingo Diamond League leader board at number 12 this week so have easily stayed out of the demotion zone 😆 The woman who topped the leader board had almost 13,000 points, obviously far too much time on her hands.
Having veggie lasagne and salad for tonight's dinner, took a portion out of the freezer to defrost. Making carrot, swede and lentil soup for this week's lunches. Today's cleaning task is the kitchen.
Have a good one 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Good news on the promise of a refund.I think it’s probably a great decision staying in the hub of the house. I suspect Mr SA would shuffle upstairs to see what he was having for his dinner anyway since he likes to contact you wherever you go.
Good luck finding a nice holiday for you both 🤞January spends - £587.584
