Have been to Lidl again this morning to pick up the red wine they have on offer plus a few things I forgot on Thursday. I’ve already reached my £2 coupon and halfway to the £10 one. I’m doing the majority of my shopping there at the moment. 

Contacted Amazon again about the missing order and they will refund me if the seller doesn’t respond by Tuesday. 

The plan is to book the holidays this weekend. I’ve really missed not going this year. Got plenty of things done to the house but it’s no consolation. 

DS and the GKs are coming this afternoon. DS is going to help Mr SA put up the curtain pole in the spare bedroom. Mr SA is being really tight about his beer and has warned me not to offer DS more than one beer 😆 The most he’s ever had is two. Mr SA has put one can in the fridge and hidden the rest 🤣 

Veggie burger, wedges and salad for dinner tonight. Prosecco chilling in the fridge 🍾

I think we have decided it is holidays in the UK again for us next year. We have the Isle of Wight booked and then I think our autumn two week holiday is going to be Devon and Cornwall. 

The year after we are definitely heading to France though and possibly into Spain.

Can you believe Mr SA has just phoned DS to tell him he can only have one beer. He means business 🤣🤣 DS is driving as DIL’s done something to her eye so he’s not too disappointed.

I'd have to wind Mr SA up...maybe have a quiet word with ds then offer him a few beers to take home for his help. He'll be warned in advance to say no but the fright that he might say yes will serve Mr SA right for being so tight with his ale🤣
