I think I’ve been put in a some sort of elite class leaderboard now. There’s no way I’ll top this one, the woman in first place after just one day has more points than I topped the last leaderboard with after a whole week. Too hardcore for me I’ll be content to stay out of the demotion zone on this one. And no sign of Gerard he must be on a lesser mortals leaderboard 🤣 Weirdly I’ve now got people following me on it 🤔 It’s like Instagram I have 15 followers of which 4 are friends, no idea who the others are and I’ve only ever posted once about 2 years ago 😆

I suppose for the same reason people follow on here. But at least here it is just a sort of nosiness, without any weirdness involved, which is what worries me about some other places & why I don't use them.

I don’t post on Instagram either, but follow Dave Ramsey and other debt busting people for snippets of wisdom that I mostly ignore.😬Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Happy Tuesday, another beautiful warm sunny day.
Got a busy work day today with meetings both morning and afternoon so the day will fly by.
Went for a walk this morning down to the big Mr T and back. I walk very fast and had to smile that my FitBit had recorded my walk as 50 minutes on a cross trainer 😆 I will be dog walking at lunchtime then doing an interval mix workout from the FitOn app after work.
Mr M delivery has been with only one sub that I returned. I've also acquired a packet of bread rolls and a small loaf of bread that I didn't order. I queried these with the driver and he said that when the pickers do the shopping if they can't find the item they sub it then they might spot it later and then can't be bothered to put the sub back 🙄 I've not been charged for them anyway.
Cleaning is the kitchen today. Rice stuffed pepper and salad for tonight's dinner. I made a butternut squash stew last night so have a portion of that for lunch.
The greenhouse desperately needs tidying up. Leaving Mr SA in charge of it was a big mistake. There are all sorts of random things growing including two more sunflowers. He hasn't watered some of the plants so they've died. We also have a tomato jungle so that needs trimming back. Although he assures me he's been feeding the plants I suspect he hasn't. I need to take charge but it's annoying that he does so little to help, I know he can't do a lot but looking after a few plants isn't too much to ask.
Have a good one 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Funny you should mention a tomato jungle. Both mine and particularly ds usually do really well with outdoor tomatoes but this year ds tomato plants have grown stupidly wild but produced virtually no fruit. And the fruit it has produced rotted in the cold weather which followed that very hot spell. We ripped them out at weekend when we were round there and there was hardly any root to them. We came to the conclusion that it wasn’t the right type of weather for outdoor tomatoes- too many extremes. Whether that’s the right conclusion or not I don’t know but made sense to us 👍January spends - £587.584

@milann Our outdoor tomatoes have been rubbish this year as well, either none or rotten fruit. My plum trees lost all the fruit with the cold snap, so basically only got pears this year5

We didn’t move our tomatoes out of the greenhouse, they’ve done well. Not exactly a glut but enough not to have to buy any. The chillis have gone mad though. Courgettes are here, there and everywhere, again done ok, not exactly a glut but enough not to have to buy any.Mr SA’s task for the day was to tidy up the covered area where he keeps his scooter. Guess who ended up doing that. I’ve been asking him to do this for weeks! All he seems to want to do is watch TV or take the dog out on his scooter.
Didn’t take the dog to the park for a run at lunchtime, it was too hot for her. She’s been out a couple of times with Mr SA.Will need to buy a new microwave ASAP. The current one is peeling inside, it’s still working but we’ve had microwaves condemned at work when the insides start peeling so I know it’s not good. Only want a basic one this time not an all singing and dancing one, only use it to heat things up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
