I think I’ve been put in a some sort of elite class leaderboard now. There’s no way I’ll top this one, the woman in first place after just one day has more points than I topped the last leaderboard with after a whole week. Too hardcore for me I’ll be content to stay out of the demotion zone on this one. And no sign of Gerard he must be on a lesser mortals leaderboard 🤣 Weirdly I’ve now got people following me on it 🤔 It’s like Instagram I have 15 followers of which 4 are friends, no idea who the others are and I’ve only ever posted once about 2 years ago 😆

I suppose for the same reason people follow on here.  But at least here it is just a sort of nosiness, without any weirdness involved, which is what worries me about some other places & why I don't use them.

Funny you should mention a tomato jungle. Both mine and particularly ds usually do really well with outdoor tomatoes but this year ds tomato plants have grown stupidly wild but produced virtually no fruit. And the fruit it has produced rotted in the cold weather which followed that very hot spell. We ripped them out at weekend when we were round there and there was hardly any root to them. We came to the conclusion that it wasn’t the right type of weather for outdoor tomatoes- too many extremes. Whether that’s the right conclusion or not I don’t know but made sense to us 👍

We didn’t move our tomatoes out of the greenhouse, they’ve done well. Not exactly a glut but enough not to have to buy any. The chillis have gone mad though. Courgettes are here, there and everywhere, again done ok, not exactly a glut but enough not to have to buy any.

Mr SA’s task for the day was to tidy up the covered area where he keeps his scooter. Guess who ended up doing that. I’ve been asking him to do this for weeks! All he seems to want to do is watch TV or take the dog out on his scooter.

Didn’t take the dog to the park for a run at lunchtime, it was too hot for her. She’s been out a couple of times with Mr SA.

Will need to buy a new microwave ASAP. The current one is peeling inside, it’s still working but we’ve had microwaves condemned at work when the insides start peeling so I know it’s not good. Only want a basic one this time not an all singing and dancing one, only use it to heat things up.
