Wonderful! That’s a great discount, too. ☺️I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Yay something to look forward to. Did I hear on the news tonight that Bojo is thinking of scrapping PCR tests and using LFT tests for holiday makers instead by OctoberOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1204

Yes I think you heard right. I’m hoping all tests will be scrapped by next year but can understand why they want holiday makers to be Covid free on return.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Happy Thursday, Friday Eve 😁
No morning walk yet as going to Lidl later, which is a fair distance so will get plenty of steps in.
So glad I booked the holidays last night. I was looking at the flight times and found the perfect ones so decided to go for it. Have emailed Special Assistance to book Mr SA in for both holidays. Paid extra for a side sea view on the April holiday but someone has mentioned on a FB holiday group that these rooms overlook the steps of the hotel next door so I'm going to email the hotel to check. It's a brand new hotel so we haven't been to it before. It has very good reviews and looks lovely. There was a time when we wouldn't stay in hotels and only went in villas but I now prefer the security of having someone on hand to help if Mr SA has a fall, also I like to people watch and chat to other guests which you can't in a villa. The last time we stayed in a villa Mr SA spent a good part of the afternoon inside watching TV or sleeping so I was on my own round the pool. Also need to email the August hotel and ask for a room near reception, when we were there last year the owner said to request one as it's better for Mr SA, no steps and right next to the pool bar. Also need to sort out travel insurance.
Once that lot is done I can relax and look forward to next year.
Have a good one 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
