Happy Thursday 😎
Didn't wake up until 6.30 this morning so will definitely have to set an alarm for tomorrow. It's the darker mornings throwing me out, although I had to let the dog out at 5am so probably should've just stayed up. Will have to think about what I need to take with me too. Will be interesting to look inside my locker after 18 months, fortunately there isn't anything perishable in it.
Haven't been out for my morning walk yet as I want to go to Lidl later so will kill two birds with one stone.
I can't believe the new kitchen tap has started dripping. Going to get in touch with the bloke who fitted it last week. It's only been in a week! There's always something.
I've got another of the BBC Good Food/Laithwaites wine tasting events tonight. It's wine and cheese tasting but I'm not doing the cheese bit as I'm not keen on fancy cheeses, cheddar is fine for me. Will just choose one of the bottles to sample a glass not all three 😆 These events have been really interesting so far and certainly good value for money at £25 for three good bottles of wine, two glasses and the event.
Have a good one, nearly Friday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
We are finding it harder to get up with the darker mornings as well.3

Looks like going to the office tomorrow might be a waste of time. A colleague has sent me a photo of the cupboard I’m meant to be clearing out and hardly anything in it is mine. I’m still going in though even if it’s just for a couple of hours.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

A colleague who returned recently found the key to her old locker and inside was a pot of rice ready meal. Amazingly it looked okay though as she left the job several years ago it went in the bin!
Enjoy your return to the office! It's nice to have a chance to clear out and make a fresh start.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

It will also tick the box for the requirement for everyone to have done one day in the office during September. Won’t have to go back again until October 😆 My colleague had the whole wing of the office to herself today. We’re never going to be running at full staff again as we had more staff than desks pre Covid and they set loads more on recently.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I'm sad that it's getting dark in the mornings and evening already, it was dark here by 8.30 last night, mind you it was grey and cloudy all day so that didn't help. I hope your return to the office goes smoothly and hopefully you will get to go for a mooch round the shops

I actually quite like the nights just as they are now…..I don’t want them getting any darker earlier, but am enjoying not being woken at 4.30 because it is light. I know it’s a pipe dream but would suit me like this all year around.Enjoy your day in the office tomorrow 👍January spends - £587.585

The cheese and wine tasting event was quite amusing reading the chat bar. Some people were being really pretentious by saying they were pairing their wine with some fancy cheese I’d never heard of and someone else said they were pairing theirs with Laughing Cow 🤣🤣 I was actually eating a stir fry and was very tempted to put that in the chat bar 😆
Just sat down to watch a bit of TV before going to bed only to find Mr SA watching a World Cup qualifier we’ve only just had the 🤬World Cup for goodness sake 😩😡

I prefer autumn and winter, so the darker nights are my thing 😬
the cheese and wine event sound hilarious, I’d have been having mini cheddars with mine 😁
