Glad you got to go out yesterday, even if it was busy. I agree with you about not being in routine when you aren't at work, good job you looked at your food order. Are you still thinking of moving up to the spare room for your office now it's nearly finished and ready to go ?Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.5

They have separate sections for families and adults which is great, although someone brought a baby into the adult section and it started doing those ear piercing screams that babies do 😐 The staff normally move kids out of this section but not on this occasion. We had a lovely meal anyway, I had asparagus and cherry tomato pasta which was gorgeous and Mr SA had burger and chips. He only ever eats burger and chips or fish and chips, total nightmare to take out for meals. Both the dog and cat were sitting in the living room window looking for us when we got back. The cat started miaowing when she saw me then they both ran to the door. Anyone would think we’d been gone ages, we were only out just over an hour, the pub is less than 10 minutes walk away 😆
Think I’m going to chill for the rest of the day, do some more Spanish lessons and read my book. Mr SA has gone to bed to watch Top Gear.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

I think he would go for a roast although he tends to go for the chips with everything option 🙄 Personally when eating out I try to choose something I wouldn’t normally have at home.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
In anticipation of my September goals I’ve downloaded a free app - FitOn and joined a September tone and tighten challenge. The app looks great, already have some access to FitOn via my WW app but there are more things on the actual app. Premium is just under £30 a year but the reviews say there’s enough on the free version so no need to pay. I like workouts pre planned for me so this is right up my street.
That’s one thing sorted ✅
Ordered a curtain pole and some voiles for the spare room. Have gone for coral voiles, they look amazing 🤩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

Happy Tuesday, bit of a cold miserable one here
Finally emerged from catching up at work after being off last week. At least the day is flying by.
Payday today, finances done. Determined to have a good September and stay on track.
Mr M delivery coffee pods and Mr SA's beer missing, a couple of times subbed. Down to the last coffee pod but good old Amazon have an offer on a 10 pack black coffee bundle meaning the packs work out cheaper than Mr M so has worked out better for me and will keep us going for a while. Will pick up the beer from Mr T as it's on offer.
At some point need to fit in cleaning the kitchen and dining room. Have made some spicy carrot and lentil soup for lunch, 4 portions so will last me for the rest of the week. Freezer is bursting at the seams so need to meal plan around contents this week.
Exercise was a walk this morning, dog walk shortly and an arms and thighs workout from the FitOn app. Really need to refocus on diet and exercise during September as well as finances.

Will be going into the office this Friday to clear out a cupboard that needs emptying before we go back officially. That will be strange after 18 months away. I wonder if I can remember where the office is 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
