The last time I went on a bus you had to wear a mask, they cleaned the high touch points before you got on and there was hand sanitiser at the entrance. Absolutely nothing on the train. To be fair they’d laid on extra carriages, this is normally a 2 carriage train and it had 5 so passengers were well spaced. Although this might have been more to do with the fact this train goes to the east coast and it’s bank holiday weekend.
Today has done me the world of good, just to get a good distance away from home and have a really good laugh with lots of Prosecco 🥂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

So pleased you enjoyed your special day and your friends treated you. Good for you in standing your ground with Mr SA - he seems to have got the message though - I hope he keeps it!I went up to London today - used the overground and also the tube for the first time since lockdown. I would say most people were wearing their masks on the overground and all adults that I could see on the tube. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Glad you had a nice day with your friend. You definitely need some space from Mr SA every now and again. People are still wearing masks down here in the West Country (away from holiday hot spots). I have been up visiting family in Surrey and it is about 50/50 there. I wear mine on buses and in shops if busy but not if quiet and plenty of space to social distance.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Glad you had a lovely day and that Mr SA behaved himself.
Not many masks now here other than medical settings although my supermarket drivers are still wearing them.5
