I'm sure you know what will happen if you don't go out. Eventually he will make going to work impossible & any other sort of life for you impossible too. So go & feel free to blame us. Dogs have really good self preservation instincts by the way.

Sun_Addict said:I’m only worried about the dog to be honest. There’s no chance of anyone babysitting the dog, he would really kick off about that. He was like this before his illness. When the kids were little I rarely went out but on the rare occasions I did and he was babysitting he would disappear to ‘get petrol’ about 30 minutes before I was due to go out then be gone ages, either getting back just in time for me to leave or being slightly late, saying the ‘roads were busy’ 😐 He has promised me he won’t go but I know what he’s like when a seed is sown in his mind. I’ve made it clear to him that if anything happened to the dog whilst in his care he’d be looking at fending for himself because that would be me washing my hands of him for good. I’m serious about that because I’ve had enough years of it now.
Well just one.

Don’t think I haven’t thought of letting the tyres down 🤣
He knows I’m serious about the consequences of what would happen if God forbid happened and has assured me he won’t go to the park in question. He’s creeping now so I think I’ve hit a nerve. It shouldn’t have to be like this though 😡I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

Mr SA gets worse.
Sadly ( I hope that I am wrong) I think he knows exactly what he is doing with his emotional blackmail.
