Morning, happy Sunday

Another dull day but lots to do indoors. The plan is to sand down the drawers and get the primer on today. Also need to paint over the patched up bit of the wall in the bedroom where Mr SA bodged the curtain pole. Fortunately the curtain covers it but I still want to paint over it. Got to replace a bulb in the kitchen ceiling spotlights too.

Not going anywhere other than the park across the road with the dog so it will be NSD6 of June. Hoping to get some more in this coming week. 

Mr SA has got beer from DS and DD for Father’s Day so he’ll be pleased. 

Need to do a meal and exercise plan for next week.

Drawers all ready for painting black now. The primer was good stuff and despite the tin being tiny a little went a long way, still got half a tin left after two coats. It dries quickly too. The ceiling spotlight bulb in the kitchen has been replaced, bit of a faff, there’s definitely a knack to it. Have also painted over Mr SA’s bodge plastering job, didn’t realise just how much of a mess he’d made of it. Just need to do a meal/exercise plan and that’s all my goals for the day smashed. The dog will need another walk before I can put my feet up though.

Glad you had a lovely day with your friend the other day SA and congrats on the Lucky Dip win!  Good for you for getting the DIY jobs done too!

P.S.  My first concert was to see The Monkees when I was 12 (who remembers them now but they were huge at the time)!  My dad took me and friend all the way up to Wembley to see the concert and waited outside until it was finished. Wasn't allowed to go on our own!🤣

"hey hey we are the monkees and people say we're monkeying around". Seasidegal at least your dad knew where you were.  I can't begin to imagine what fibs I told my parents when I sneaked off to concerts and shows as a teenager.  

I remember wanting to see David Cassidy so badly when I was about 8 or 9 but it was an absolute no no.  I saw him when I was 40 something and it was a complete let down 😒

David Cassidy was my heartthrob when I was 13/14. I can remember the Monkees, they had a TV show.
