I bought some from the local DIY store. £7.99 for a pot not much bigger than an Airfix paint pot. I want to do the job properly. If I can get the drawers sanded down, cleaned and primed tomorrow I’ll be happy.

I’ve refused to allow Mr SA to watch the football tonight, it’s Saturday night and it’s not an England match. Watching TOTP2 1983, my heyday, one of my favourite years, such good times 💃

Glad you had a lovely day with your friend.  None of us will take these things for granted anymore which is a small positive from these difficult times.  

I'm recording that Top of the Pops tonight and then the Paul Weller concert later.  I have missed live music so much so I'm going to pretend I'm there with Paul.  I'm not a massive fan but he did some good stuff so I'm hoping he plays the popular songs and not a pretentious lot of unknown songs in the round in an acoustic style 🤩

Watching Paul Weller right now, also not a massive fan but it’s really good. My first ever concert was Culture Club, absolutely brilliant 🤩

I love my late 90s dance music too 💕 Have been to Ibiza so many times. One of the things on my Bucket List was to have a Mojito in Cafe Mambo while watching the sunset- done that several times now, once just isn’t enough 😆

My first concert was Ah-ha in 86 😬 I swear we nearly died that night! At the end everyone headed to the coach park across a really high foot bridge and the bridge was swaying and people were panicking and packed in like cattle. I remember some people running along the hand rails to get over before it collapsed. Really scary…it didn’t collapse and we never complained (never though to!), but now I wonder if they realised and put weight restrictions in place or something! It put me off concerts and crowds for life 🤣

That sounds dire 😩 Morten Harket was gorgeous back in the day and not too shabby now after seeing him in The Masked Singer.
