Look at that smoke!😱
A new mattress will help with Mr SA's back if your current one is uncomfortable. The difference in comfort and how my back felt when I exchanged my very old one to a new version was incredible.Hope the bedroom renovation goes well. 👍Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Happy Friday 😁
Last day at work for 6 days 🎉 Have been for a run this morning, sunny but chilly. Should be another quiet day work-wise, got a few bits to do before I break up. DD has paid her board this morning so will shuffle this into the bedroom refurb pot. On a mission to get it all finished by the end of June. We will be getting a new bed as not only the mattress has had it so has the base, going to get a Premier Inn bed as I've heard such good reviews about them. Can't really order one until the bedroom is about done as don't want it arriving before it's finished, if we have to sleep in the old bed for a while longer so be it. The Naproxen seem to be working their magic on Mr SA's back thankfully. Once the bedroom is done then I'll be on a mission to clear the additional borrowing part of the re-mortgage as I want to pay that off when the fixed rate finishes next July. I'll also re-start putting money away for holidays as I think they'll be back on the horizon before too much longer.
Rejigged the grocery budget and divided up what's left into weekly amounts as I know this works better for me. Have done a meal plan for the rest of the month using what's in stock so shouldn't need to buy too much other than fresh stuff and whatever we run out of store cupboard wise.
Today will be NSD4 of May.
Have a fabulous Friday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

Your pots totals look good and it will be great to get your bedroom sorted. You seem to do great at doing it all. Renovating the house, clearing the borrowing and saving for holidays and home refurb. That mortgage looks like it will soon be paid off too.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Morning happy Saturday 🥂
What a miserable day ☔️ Won’t be going far today, the dog will have to make do with a soggy run on the park. Got to pick up a few bits from the local shops but will be a low spends day. Got plenty to do indoors so won’t be a wasted day. Shame the forecast is rubbish for my few days off, would’ve been nice to sit in the garden in between skip filling, oh well.
Veggie burger, wedges and salad for tonight’s dinner, looking forward to that. Home grown salad leaves from the greenhouse. The seeds Mr SA planted are doing well and ready to go into grow bags/bigger pots.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
