Garden will look a lot better in time for summer with all that junk gone.5

Happy Monday ☺️Nice sunny morning here, hopefully it’ll stay dry again. Just waiting for the skip, no idea what time it’s arriving. The plan today is to get the garden stuff in it then make some room in the spare room/gym, there’s a few bits in there need binning. Then I need to move the drawers and dressing table in there as we’re going to use them to keep clothes in during the refurb. Trying to keep Wednesday free in case I feel rough again after tomorrow’s jab.Today will be NSD6 of May, doing well considering it’s only the 10th. Got veggie chilli and rice out of the freezer for tonight’s dinner. Exercise will be walking the dog and skip filling. Cleaning is the kitchen and dining room.
So nice not to have to log on and do the work stats today 😁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
The skip is here and half full already. A kind passer by offered to help put the slabs in but I declined and thanked him. There’s still one very heavy slab in the garden that I just can’t shift so will ask DS on Saturday when he comes. I don’t know where all these heavy grey slabs have come from, they’ve never been in use as far as I can remember. When we first moved here there were 6 sheds in the garden and the bottom half was completely concreted over. The previous owners were market gardeners and kept goats. Took us months to clear it all. After lunch will clean and move things round in the spare room ready to start moving things out of the bedroom.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9

Got loads more done today than planned, tomorrow morning it will be dismantling the wardrobes. Mr SA has been no help whatsoever, he just sat on the bed and faffed about with a bumbag he found in his bedside drawers. The dog kept getting under my feet and the cat has been wandering around staring at the empty spaces where the dressing table and drawers were. It’s unbelievable how many clothes I’ve got, really need to have a cull. I’m going to be really ruthless about what gets put back in the new wardrobes. Discovered two lovely summer dresses that I can’t remember buying or wearing last year. Anyway most things are in the spare room now thank goodness. Might get DS to help bring the bed downstairs on Saturday then we can get the carpet up Sunday.I’m absolutely shattered now 🥱I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
