Morning, happy Tuesday
Been wide awake since 4am when it started getting light. Got up at 5. I’d rather be up reading my book than laying there listening to Mr SA and the dog snoring. So it’s the 2nd jabs for us both today but first it’ll be dismantling and skipping the wardrobes. Fortunately I’ve got a teeny tiny room off the bedroom that I use as a wardrobe, I can close the door and won’t have to worry about clearing it. This has brought home to me just how many clothes I’ve got. This little room is fitted with two rails that are full, I have a double wardrobe where I keep my coats and jackets, then there’s the ottoman where I keep my summer/winter clothes depending on the season, then I have a suitcase full of holiday clothes 😱 Then there’s the bags and shoes 😱
When I start putting things back I really must decide do I really love this item, if not it goes in the charity bag.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Morning SA , sounds like the clear out is full steam ahead . I think we are all guilty of having lots of clothes . Have another productive day .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4

Guilty of the clothes 'creep' also - spreading to 2 bedrooms and the landing cupboards. Must do better lol.
Everyone loves a skip - its cathartic. We have really nice neighbours but 2 sets are a bit on the tight side. Tend to cadge favours rather than give them. You can guarantee that within 24 hours of a skip appearing, 1 or both has asked to put something in it.
Good luck with your jobs and jabs today. Husband had 2nd AZ at the weekend - had a strong reaction to first but nothing to this so hope you get lucky.6 -
I’m paranoid about someone dumping something in my skip overnight. At the moment people are taking things out of it.Had to smile I got yet another reminder email about today’s jab calling me by both my christian names, reminds me of when I was a child, I knew when my mum callled me by both names I was in trouble 😆
Using up freezer stocks for tonight’s dinner, sweet chilli salmon fish cakes with sweet potato wedges for me, chicken casserole for Mr SA. Got a Mr M delivery coming later. Also need to buy DGS’s present, it’s his birthday next week.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
When we had a skip when we were moving stuff kept going out of it rather than stuff going into it
It is amazing some of the stuff people took from it.5 -
Never bothered about stuff going out
When we last had major work we factored in 3 skips but only needed 1 due to skip divers. We started leaving stuff stacked against it for a day to make it easier for them lol.4 -
When I had a skip it was parked in front of my garage which is in a block in a carpark, when I went to fill it someone had put stuff in it so I climbed in and took it all out,I piled it up in the middle of the carpark, it didn't stay there long because no one could get their cars out 😀I don't mind if people ask but I was really annoyed at their cheek. They had also put paint tins in which were not actually allowed 😡Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8946

I don’t mind people taking things out of the skip, I’d rather someone make use of it instead of going to landfill. The wardrobes are dismantled and in the skip. Just got the carpet to go in now, will still be loads of room.
2nd vaccine done ✔️ Will put the paracetamols at the side of the bed tonight just in case I get side effects again. Got soaked on the way back it absolutely poured down.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
