Panic buying strikes again 🤨

The other half works not far from a big supermarket and he said that the traffic has been queuing past their place all day.6 -

They would be spending it with him whatever the consequences. Under those circumstances I would do the same. I have a feeling there’s something similar going on with the couple across the road from me, haven’t seen the bloke for a while now and their son and GKs are there every day visiting.
I don't mean that to come across harshly and it certainly isn't meant that way. It is just a sad fact of the times we find ourselves in.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Swapping a vegetarian pizza for a meat one does seem the height of idiocy, but Mr T have done exactly the same thing to us in deliveries 🙄. They had satsumas at the Mr T near me this morning, but I didn't check out the lettuce situation as I rarely buy lettuce, just as well it seems as I wouldn't be able to even if I wanted to now 🤣. You've got to laugh or you'd cry 🤣.
I hope you managed to get the missing bits from your Mr M delivery, it's nice knowing you've got all the food in for Christmas and can just hunker down ☺🎅 .Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Have been to Aldi and there’s loads and loads of lettuce. Got everything on my list except for smoked salmon so nipped to our little Mr T Express and picked some up there, they also had loads of lettuce as did the Iceland next door. So don’t panic there’s plenty, it’s just the media up to their tricks again. People tend to overlook the small shops at Christmas so often better to go there.
So that’s it, nothing else to buy 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
I’ll nip to Aldi - thanks SAJanuary spends - £587.586

I find it's best to do a combination of online and real life shopping to get everything I need. Mr T substituted de-caff tea for tea with caffeine in once 🙄🤣.
I'm glad you've got all your shopping SA 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
