Enjoy your time off SA and that made me chuckle thinking of Mr SA shouting out random things. My DH is doing that with food as DD1 and I are restricting sugar this year and as we cannot entertain I have not gone overboard with food so he thinks there is nothing to eat. I have told him it is too late and any food he wants he has to go and buy himself. He has had plenty of notice to put things on the shopping list but as usual leaves things to last minute. Tipping down with rain here too at the moment.
I am with you about people not following the rules. I think there will be many people trying to get round the restrictions. My family are panicking about Cornwall going into Tier 2 and my DD is worried about schools and nurseries not opening again after Christmas. We are in a childcare bubble though so we can help this time unless they stop that.
We have a Canadian trip booked for September 2021 (postponed from 2020) but not sure how things will stand then. We have to pay the balance in June but won't be paying unless things are almost back to normal by then.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. It’s still pouring with rain. It’s running down our road like a mini river. The dog reluctantly went out into the garden and came back soaked. Hopefully tomorrow will be better and I can make it up to her with lots of walks.Mr SA is still going on about the blooming gift sets in Savers. I’ll be glad when the shops have closed.
The work surface pro is zipped up in its bag until next year. The second screen, docking station, headphones, keyboard and mouse will have to stay set up as it’s such a faff setting them all up again.
Did 4.5 miles on the treadmill and that was just to get my steps up to 10k. I haven’t left the house today.Have had a bath and painted my nails. Just need to cook dinner now. I’m having a piece of salmon on a bed of stir fried vegetables. Mr SA has requested cheeseburger and chips.Looking forward to putting my feet up with a very large glass of red later 🍷I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

@beanielou he used to drive my mum nuts by feeling all the presents under her tree and correctly guessing what they were 🤣 That’s why I hide them 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Morning all, happy Christmas Eve 🎅
Weather looks better today so the dog will be getting a few walks. DD has brought all the presents for DS and co downstairs and the dog keeps rummaging through them. No doubt Mr SA will be too when he gets up.
Need to nip to local shops for some bread rolls and a paper. I might cave in and get Mr SA one of those cheap tacky gift sets from Savers but only if it’s not busy.DS and the GKs coming later to pick up the presents. It’s a shame they can’t come in but it is what it is.My favourite version of Christmas Carol with George C Scott as Scrooge is on at lunchtime so will watch that.Having pizza, wedges and salad tonight and the Prosecco is chilling in the fridge already 🥂
Have a lovely Christmas Eve xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Our presents can't go under the tree until tonight just before bed otherwise the dog will start opening them all 🤣🤣🤣
He seems to think every wrapped present is for him!
I will put them under the tree when the other half takes the dog out for his last wees before bed. He won't see them until in the morning then.
Having a dog is worse than having children I swear 😃8 -
I have the cat to contend with as well. She has a tendency to dive bomb wrapped presents, rip the paper and run off with the tags 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9
