There was hardly anyone about at the local shops so straight in and out. Got Mr SA his tacky gift set, actually it was quite nice as it’s Dove mini toiletries in a little tin with handles on which he’ll love. He’ll probably keep his lypsyls in it 😆
Came home and took the dog on the park. So annoyed with myself as I got a bit carried away with throwing her ball and it sailed over a fence into goodness knows where. A dog ran up to Mr SA then cocked it’s leg up on his scooter 😂
Mr SA made me check all the presents that DD left for DS to pick up to make sure none of them are for him. They’re coming to pick them up at lunchtime and will park right at the front door so we can chat without having to stand in the drive. It’s lovely and sunny today but bitterly cold 🥶I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

A bright sunny day here as well but bitterly cold. We have had a couple of very brief snow flurries thrown in.6

Big mistake putting the presents under the tree already. The dog is sat guarding them and every time the cat comes in the room she sees her off. Absolute chaos.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

As we haven't given each other presents fo years we don't have the problem with the dogs. Normally we get something from DD but as she has been furloughed for most of the year we told her not to get anything. Son in law is unable to work so things are tough for them. Between us we only have one other relative (my brother in law) who doesn't do presents so under our tree is clear other than dog hair which is a permanent fixture no matter how much hoovering goes on.
A very happy Christmas to all or at least as happy as possible in these strange times.7 -
I had to laugh at Mr SA shouting out re the presents!🤣
Love the news of your guard dog as well!😂
I hope you, Mr SA and DD have a good Christmas Day tomorrow and you enjoying seeing DS and DGC today when they picked up their presents. Have lots of fizzy and gin tomorrow!🎄☃️🎁🍾Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

The dog is still guarding the presents several hours later. Had a very brief meet up in the drive with DS and the GKs earlier. Typical that after a lovely sunny morning it started to sleet while I was outside chatting to them, then immediately after they’d gone the sun was back out. Took the dog on the park again, managed not to lose her ball this time then watched Christmas Carol. Mr SA is now worried no one has bought him shower gel or rum - the list goes on ...I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Just put our presents under the tree. Off to bed now. Dog out on his last walk with other half and is banned from the living room on his return.7

The animal antics has made me smile so has the thought of Mr SA rummaging to guess what the presents are....Have a lovely Christmas and I hope Santa brings everything everyone wants.....especially Mr SA 👍January spends - £587.587

The dog won’t even let Mr SA go near the presents. The poor cat has been unable to enter the living room all day. Obviously the dog thinks the presents are hers, she’s going to be a bit disappointed 😂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9
