It is weird this time between Christmas and New years. At least I have the other half with me this year trying to find ways to pass the time 🤣🤣🤣
Have a great day wherever you end up.7 -
Morning everyone I know what I am doing today starting my diet with a vengeance had a lovely Xmas and Boxing Day won’t be doing anything for new year my son gets married in a year and eight months and I am going to be slim for this wedding there I’ve said it now got my head round it now planned my meals still furloughed but when I am back to work this is one of my biggest problems coming in tired and looking in the freezer and thinking what to make I will eat anything but hubby is very plain eater and won’t try anything so for easy I just make what he likes get sick of looking at beige food with no flavour so I have made myself a plan wish me luck Fitbit charged I am now off to our local forest that I have a yearly pass for to do a good walk it has routes and I am hoping to do the 6k one have a great day whatever you are doing 👍10

Good luck with the diet IzzyBee. At least you’ve got a goal to work towards, should keep you motivated. Perhaps you could batch cook a few meals for yourself to keep in the freezer once you’re back at work - that’s what I do as Mr SA eats completely different food to me.We are going to the golf course today, there’s a walking trail alongside the course and it’s only 1.7 miles away so won’t take long to walk there. Hopefully will be more successful than the aborted trip to the country park where Mr SA’s scooter got stuck on the hills 😂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Watch out for getting stuck in mud whilst out. I dont what it is like where you are but the ground is very soft and sticky here. I am with IzzyBee the diet starts today. My DH is also difficult with new food so I need a plan or it wont work.

I have just had salted peanuts for breakfast so no diet here yet
The golf course walk sounds good SA, enjoyNevertheless she persisted.10 -
The golf course walking trail was a lot closer than I thought, only took 20 minutes to walk there. It was very muddy and Mr SA’s scooter kept getting stuck so unfortunately couldn’t do the full walk. We’ll go back when it’s less muddy though. You can’t really see it from these photos but they’d put tinsel and baubles in the trees and hedges. Apparently it’s nice at dusk when they switch the fairy lights on.

I bet it is very pretty at dusk....can you go back or will it be too dark for the scooterJanuary spends - £587.586

Would love to but not good for the scooter with all the mud. Doesn’t help that there appears to be a natural stream running through the footpath. It’s lovely though and so close to where we live, will be worth returning when the ground dries out. He couldn’t get the scooter any further than the picture of the dog by the tree which was a shame.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

The dog still had plenty of energy left after this morning’s walk so I had to take her for a ball throw on the park over the road after lunch. Can’t believe I nearly lost her ball again 😱 I really must be a bit more restrained with my throwing 😆 Mr SA has decided he wants something ‘light’ for dinner and has chosen fish, chips and mushy peas 🤔 I think I’ll have fish cake, sweet potato wedges and veg. Today has been my third NSD in a row, totally unheard of, what’s going on.
