We still have snow. It’ll be lethal tomorrow when it freezes 😳January spends - £587.587

Have had to return the cordless hand held vacuum cleaner I bought from Amazon in October. It just stopped working, shame as it was really good until then. I must say Amazon customer service is brilliant. It’s being picked up tomorrow and a refund sent. I’ve ordered another one because it was really handy.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

I woke up to snow and some is still lying, under a brilliant full moon. It's going to be cold tonight and we have the log-burner alight for the third night in a row. We hardly used it last winter! I'm so glad we got it.
What a shame about the hand held vacuum, SA. I hope the replacement arrives quickly.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Morning all, today is Wednesday possibly 🤔
No snow but frosty and very cold 🥶
The replacement hand held cleaner is arriving today. Not sure what we’re doing today, will have to wait in for parcel collection and delivery. Need to do finances as it’s payday tomorrow. Also need to get back on the exercise and tracking food wagon, been a bit slack over the last few days. I’m more organised when I’m at work, I don’t want to waste these days off. I think I might declutter the kitchen cupboards today. I’m itching to take down the Christmas decorations but will restrain myself until the weekend.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Morning we have a decent covering of snow here most of it melted and slushy yesterday but another covering through the night bitterly cold been really focused with my food no naughty stuff in the house and hit my 15000 steps everyday up to now had a good walk with the dog and kept busy in the house thanks for the tip SA about batch cooking I have done a fair amount and froze it I have a memo board stuck on the fridge decided to write a weekly menu on there and take out what I need to defrost the night before I have had Tuesday meal on Monday and Monday meal tonight don’t know where the hell im at with the days there has been more rubbing out done on that board than enough never mind it’s helped and I’ve always got something prepared got to get some housework done this morning then plenty of layers to walk the dog about 12 it’s going to be slippery have a good day everyone whatever you are doing x6

There’s still a fair bit of snow about but I suspect the busier roads will be clear by now...just the side roads and pavements looking very iffy. I’ve no intention of testing them to see how slippery they are.Hope the vacuum cleaner arrives and is better than it’s predecessor.January spends - £587.586

The broken vacuum has been picked up and the new one delivered. I’ve gone for the same make as the last on was good, I was just unlucky to get a faulty one. The new one is actually a better model and more slimline, will be easier to store. The dog has been on the park twice and I’ve had everything out of my kitchen cupboards, cleaned them out and got rid of a few things, some binned and some have gone in the charity bag. I’ve made a start on taking some Christmas decorations down.Making DD the pizza pasta bake from the PON new book tonight. I’m having tuna steak and rice stuffed pepper cooked in the Ninja. Mr SA has requested Pukka pie and chips. Just when I thought I’d got the freezer contents down a bit DD has bought a load of food and filled it back up.It’s been a NSD today, have got a Kindle Ninja cookbook today but that was free on Amazon. Finances have been done ready for payday tomorrow. Sent a £7.10 oddment to my VSP to kick off next year’s Christmas savings.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Boo we’ve just been ‘promoted’ to Tier 4 😩 Not that it’s going to make that much difference as we’re not going anywhere anyway.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9
