I've been smiling at the foreign food stories. My dad won't eat courgettes but will eat them if described as baby marrows 😉
enjoy your modified New Years Eve - pizza and Prosecco sounds perfect8 -
Pizza and prosecco sounds a good combo for new year's eve 🍕🍾 . That's funny about your IG account, maybe your followers have a foot fetish or a plaster fetish 🤣 . I hope your airer comes soon.

The airer has turned into a saga I’m afraid. Tracked my parcel via this never heard of before carrier - XDP. Apparently they delivered it to a different address yesterday afternoon and someone signed for it. There was a photo of the signature and address label. Someone had crossed out my number and written another number in thick pen over it. Someone had signed for it. I felt like stomping round to this address and asking for my parcel but calmed down and phoned XPD customer services, was held in a queue for ages so rang Aldi. Fortunately they can also see the delivery photo so are raising a complaint with XPD and asking them to retrieve it from said address and redeliver to me.So annoyed right now 🤬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Still trying to calm down, I just want it sorted out. Really annoyed that someone might have kept my airer. Probably going to take ages to sort this out and I'm not very patient. Have sent an angry email to XPD.
Anyway as it's payday have done my finances. £250 is going to my monthly saver and another £200 kept to one side earmarked for the emergency fund. Target for 2021 is to save £500 per month minimum. £15.00 has gone to the new oven pot and an oddment of £7.72 to my VSP (Christmas) pot.
Mr SA needed to get some fresh air as he's not been out for a couple of days so we went on a very long walk (scoot in Mr SA's case) round the block with the dog. The pavements are still treacherous in parts so we had to stick to roads where it was relatively flat, in fact we took my old running route I was doing in the spring/summer. Flat roads round here are a rarity and it looked like everyone else had the same idea so we passed a lot of people en route. I'm happy because I'm not far off 20k steps for today. The dog not so happy because she's only had one ball run on the park over the road today which wasn't very successful as there were people measuring the football pitch with a tape measure for some reason and it put her off a bit. She gets spooked very easily. I suppose they could have been assessing it for suitability for a match?I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
It's not good that your airer was delivered elsewhere - my son once had this happen when he ordered a phone and it ended up in the next street. I think it resolved in the end but it's so stressful and unnecessary.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

As it's probably been used by now I would expect Aldi to send me a new one and keep the original which effectively is now second hand. All that clutter used to be money6
