Happy New Year everyone and happy Friday 🥳
Didn’t make it to midnight last night was too tired. If any fireworks went off I didn’t hear them. There were some going off earlier in the evening though.
Should be the first NSD of January and 2021 today, not planning to go anywhere other than to walk the dog. I’m doing Joe Wick’s live You Tube workout at 10am. The Christmas decorations are coming down today so will also be giving everywhere a good clean. I need to finish the Christmas book I’m reading, after reading 3 Christmas books in a row I feel the need for something a bit meatier.Mr SA has managed to b@#%er up the coffee machine again, has wasted 2 pods and left it for me to sort out - great 🙁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

I’ve had a busy day today, did Joe’s workout, took the dog for a run on the park, took all the Christmas decorations down and packed them away in the cupboard under the stairs, then cleaned all the downstairs rooms. Tonight’s dinner will be fish cake, sweet potato wedges and veg for me, fish, chips and mushy peas for Mr SA. Managed a NSD as planned, will need to go shopping tomorrow though.Yesterday when I was in Mr T I picked up a BBC Good Food magazine, I don’t normally buy it but liked the picture of the food on the cover. It was too much kerfuffle to put my reading glasses on to see the price as I already had a woolly hat on, a mask and my ear phones in which had all somehow got tangled up. I was shocked to find out when I got home it was £5.25 😮 However after looking through it properly there are loads of good recipes in there including the one on the front cover which was actually chicken but they gave an alternative version using aubergine instead. So all in all worth it I think.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9

We are taking the decorations down tomorrow. Figured we would have one last day with them up.
I always find the rooms look bare when they are taken down.
We will do the same though and have a good clean up at the same time.6 -
Happy New Year SA and family, magazines are so expensive nowadays and they are my downfall, I stopped buying them completely when I began my debt journey but lately a few are creeping back in, I think I'm going to choose one and subscribe to it because it's a cheaper way of buying them, I've tried reading them online but didn't like it 🙄 hope you got the coffee machine sorted out 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1208
