What was annoying was that someone signed my name knowing it wasn’t for them 🤬 The times I’ve chased after delivery people when they’ve left a parcel that isn’t mine. If they’ve kept it knowing it’s not theirs then it’s theft pure and simple.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

You are not the only one. Although they don't seem to ask for a signature anymore. Out of 11 Amazon deliveries this year, I had 2 expensive ones delivered to a friend because they always arrive, 5 said handed to resident when they weren't, 1 turned up a week later leaning against the front door, only 4 arrived normally. The replacements I had delivered elsewhere. I am sick of telling them the satnav does not get you here (unless you have a very old tomtom). Why do people accept parcels that are obviously not for them, not even on the same road?

That's awful about your airer. I bet the courier can't retrieve it in unused condition. They should be reported for theft.
