Goodness he is a liability with that scooter isn't he? The trouble is you cannot ever really relax when you are out with him if he does things like drive into you or any other object/person in his way. As Cherryfudge says we are all wary of tackling people with disabilities and accidents do happen but I have seen an awful lot of people on mobility scooters going way too fast and they cannot maneuver them properly. Not sure what the answer is but maybe speak to him later and just say he needs to take more care.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. I suppose the incident could have been worse but embarrassing non the less . My dad once fell over some pretend grass in a DIY store , as he tried to stop himself falling he landed on some plastic fencing that all broke. He ripped his trousers as well, he has never got over it.If you get the candle will you report back I have one on my sparks card as well .Glad to hear you enjoyed the GKs and well done to GS for his award at school, a proud mummy moment .Have a good evening .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.9

Oh SA. How awful for you. I have a similar problem, although nothing like as bad, with Himself. He is so clumsy and hopeless with anything mechanical or technological. In fact, he’s famous for it in our circle of relatives and friends. In his case I think it’s something to do with hand to eye co-ordination. He has very bad eye sight. Has had all his life. But at least he acknowledges there is a problem and gets me to do the things that he knows he will potentially mess up ie open a bottle or can. He can’t be trusted with a tin opener. I feel, though, that I’m constantly checking things. Like I worry he’s put on the oven and not the grill - more than one smoke alarm has gone off that way. And don’t even mention him trying to put his passport in one of those machines at the airport the right way🙁🙁. What I’m trying to say is it is that I understand how stressful it must be for you all the time.
Hope your restrictions are not going to be too bad tomorrow. It’s not looking encouraging though, is it? I wish the press would stop speculating, though. It’s just causing more stress.
Take care and look after yourself.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.10 -

Thank you for the kind comments 💕
I’ve been batch cooking up a storm this afternoon. I bought the WW batch cooking book a couple of weeks ago and have made 14 fish cakes and am roasting some butternut squash in the oven for my old favourites squash, chickpea and lime soup and spicy squash stew with herb dumplings. Don’t even ask about the mess 😱 Panko breadcrumbs get everywhere, never used them before, hope they taste ok.Quite looking forward to my trip into town tomorrow morning. I’ve still got loads of vouchers for a free coffee in M&S so will have ha coffee after the food shop. Mr SA has reminded me he wants a new coat and can I pick him one up 🤣😩
I’m lucky I work flexible hours at work so can start and finish whenever I want. Not looking forward to tomorrow’s announcements, I don’t think it’s going to be good 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Autumnal view
of the further away park this morning. It’s around 20-25 minutes walk but worth it. It’s a lovely park and has a nursery/garden centre, a cafe and some lovely play areas for children. Only a couple of miles from the city centre and the same from the countryside.

The park is lovely and I’m so impressed at the batch cooking.
sorry about the scooter incident, thank goodness no one said anything. I had it playing out in my head like a scene from Father Ted. You should write a book! Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
