So we're not exactly locked down at tier 2 but no mixing indoors. I'm surprised it's not higher because the infection rate in the student areas is through the roof apparently.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Mountain Warehouse are pretty good. We’ve managed to get a lot of good deals when we go to the Lake District in December.
I’m actually more confused than ever after watching this afternoon but I really glad it wasn’t as bad as you thought it might be. Same here. I’ve been panicking for days worrying about how I would get home from my favourite place if they locked down the area even though the infection rate is low here.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8 -
Morning 😎
I've been awake since 3.30 and couldn't get back to sleep so ended up getting up and reading my book. I've already had 2 coffees so I'm bouncing off the walls 🤣 Mr M delivery coming shortly, nothing missing, no subs so all good on that front. I won't be able to book next week's delivery until next Monday as they are moving from the Ocado warehouse to coming straight from the local store.
I feel like I could have a really lazy day today but need to stay motivated. The dark mornings aren't helping. I'm very thankful to be WFH instead of walking to work in the pitch black, one good thing to have come out of the pandemic.
Have a terrific Tuesday x

The candle sounds good so will go and get mine this weekend . I get most of my walking stuff from Mountain Warehouse , it's always been fine and lasted . You are in the same Tier as where we are now but we can now meet people outside again. I bet there has been a run on patio heaters and gazebos today.Hope you sleep better tonight SA .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.9

I was fully expecting to go into strictest tier. Like you we’re in the middle tier.....as SA said we can now meet people outside - we couldn’t before. This doesn’t make much sense to me as figures are still high 🤔
WFH sounds better than walking in the cold, dark and ice. Make the day as lazy as you can 👍January spends - £587.589 -
Mr SA's coat arrived this morning and he's happy with it. Impressed with the quality. I haven't been lazy so far today, my motivation suddenly appeared. I always feel better when I'm doing. I've taken advantage of Amazon Prime day by splashing out £7 on a lemon zester, last of the big spenders 🤣 I actually already have one but it's really fiddly to use, this one appears to be a lot easier. I've got a lot of lemons/limes at the moment so I'm going to get the zest off, slice them up and bag up in the freezer.
I just had a bit of a panic when my Covid app sent me a message verifying exposure to the virus. Thankfully a second message said my risk has been assessed and there's no need to take action at this time. Phew! I only checked in at M&S and it was almost empty.
Took the dog on the park at lunchtime for a quick run, nice to get out in the sunshine briefly. Might be a struggle to hit the 15k steps target today but I'm determined to try. Pleased to report I hit my goal of over 100k steps last week at 106,212 😁

Wow,well done on the step total.i haven't walked very far since I got the chest infection back in August,I'm missing walking home from work as it was a nice way to unwind after a shift, mind you its not such nice weather now so I probably wouldn't enjoy it as muchOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1209

I had the same with my app - apparently it's a problem originating in the app and the messages that disappear are nothing to worry about. They've added the follow-up message that you received so that people don't get the wrong idea.
There's a non-vanishing message if people really do test positive - I went and looked and there was nothing, and last week's work-based test was negative. Another due to tomorrow - I can't say I'm actually looking forward to it but I don't want to infect anyone.
