Nothing official has been announced yet as far as I’m aware but not looking good 😩 I think we should know for sure tomorrow or Friday. Just wish they’d get on with it. And no Mr SA’s walking is no better unfortunately.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

We have had the tightest restrictions in the country in my town and our rate had fell now but all the areas around us are going up so no win . Hope you escape any restrictions SA.
i once helped my uncle to put a greenhouse together with my dad , the language was terrible , definitely get someone in. Hope Mr SA gets over his fall. Sounds like you are managing to get lots of steps in , it's gets harder as it's get darker.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.8 -
I know this isn't the answer to all problems of isolation but I found texts and video calls to friends and colleagues helped a lot during the first lockdown, and I made friends with a neighbour by text. I do have it easy though as I still go out to work and can exercise in nearby countryside, and I'm not on my own at home.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

A very soggy morning all 😎
Went to Lidl this morning and am absolutely soaked. Had a right ordeal with my face mask. Firstly I realised I hadn't put it on when I was halfway round the store 😮 then at the self checkout the assistant had to help with something that didn't scan and my face mask fell off! I am the only one who can't think properly with one on? Anyway I picked up a new laundry basket, really shouldn't keep buying the plastic ones as Mr SA makes a regular habit of falling on them and breaking them. I'll keep a look out for a fabric one at some stage. Also got a couple of sweet filled pumpkins for the GKs IF they can come this weekend, not looking very likely unfortunately.
I might be soaked but I've clocked up 8,000 steps 😁
The last greenhouse we had a few years ago, Mr SA was normal then and it took both of us ages to put it up and there was a lot of shouting and swearing 🤣 I certainly don't relish repeating that experience with the way he is now, he's bound to fall on it at some stage.
Have a tremendous Thursday x

I know what you mean about masks. I feel very disoriented when wearing one & when I look down it goes over my eyes so I can't see where I'm putting my feet. I find fabric ones are a little better & the children's one I have even better.

Took a carrier bag of books to the CS and came back with 5 new ones 🤣 I saw two I really want to read and one which looked interesting, they sell them for 30p each or 5 for £1 so I found myself grabbing a couple of others which sounded alright. I really can't be let loose around books. The charity bag with Mr SAs cast offs has gone so that's more stuff out of the way.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9

We ordered them by mistake in our online shopping. I didn't notice until the driver had gone or I would have sent them back,I'm now giving them to someone at work 😀Buffythedebtslayer said:
Why do you have coconut infused toilet rolls???Onebrokelady said:
Damn now who can I persuade to take them away 😂😂Onebrokelady said:
Do you want me to send you my coconut infused loo rolls 😂😂Sun_Addict said:A recommendation here - ordered a burner and soy wax melts from a family owned Scottish company, Callan Candles, after seeing an advert on my FB feed. OMG the wax melts smell amazing 💕 My whole house smells fabulous, really pleased. I’m conscious that Mr SA’s accidents make the house smell like a care home so anything that makes it smell nice is a bonus 👍
I am obviously off to look at Callan candles..........!!

Looks like we’ve got a reprieve on restrictions until Monday so party time this weekend 🥳🤣 At least I’ll see DS and the GKs on Saturday unless things change, who knows. Getting ridiculous now.
Have set my Fitbit to 15k steps a day goal which is achievable, was 10k before. Took the dog on the park after work for a run to clock up a few more steps.
Glad you’re getting rid of the coconut loo rolls OBL 😂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10 -
