The highlight of my day will be my Amazon delivery of the Pinch of Nom food journal planner, I know how to live 🤣 Looking forward to getting it and using it to plan my meals etc and I love a new notebook 😁 I'm a bit of a devil for buying new cook books too and still haven't made anything from my Deliciously Ella Quick & Easy or the Batch Lady books, must make more of an effort. You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *4 -
@lindens yes I am in the FB group, I also have the app. I agree the new Ella book is great, just not got around to making any of the recipes, it's on my to do list 😀 The app is brilliant too, it's only 99p a month and has loads of recipes, exercise classes and podcasts and it's constantly being updated.
The meal planner book is here, I've had a quick flick through and it looks brilliant, it even has stickers 😀 User friendly for whatever plan you're following WW, SW, etc and a few recipes.
Noticed my kitchen floor is looking patchy, some light coloured patches have appeared. On further investigation and scrubbing a patch of the floor with a scrubbing brush, embarrassingly it appears these are clean patches and the rest of the floor is dirty 😮 I steam mop the floor regularly so it just shows it only removes surface dirt not deep down. The upshot is I've ordered a long handled scrubbing brush from Amazon which is coming tomorrow. I don't fancy getting down on my hands and knees to scrub it, it's quite a large surface area. Another exciting delivery for tomorrow 🤣

Have finally got round to buying a greenhouse after much research and deliberation. Gone for a green aluminium one from The Greenhouse People, got an offer of 15% off and have paid a 10% deposit with the balance due 10 days before delivery. Went for the full package of all the extra bits and bobs like guttering and staging. I wanted to get a good one as the last one we had was cheap and didn’t last very long. We’ll have a go at putting it together but DS will help if we struggle. It was DGS’s first day at school today, he enjoyed it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I follow Pinch of Nom on FB ,they are so good and have such lovely recipes,I really must make more effort and cook some of them. I'm trying to decide whether to use them and calorie count or go back and do either SW or WW online to lose this flaming weight. It's funny though who you come across on the pinch of nom page,I posted the other day and my sister answered me,I had no idea she was on there, she has just lost a stone with WW using pinch of nom recipes. I was going to buy the cook books but I think you can find most of their recipes on their website, I do like a nice journal though 😀
Happy scrubbing when your scrubber turns up, I have to say though that from working as a cleaner I found getting on my hands and knees better because you put your whole body behind the brush,I used a kneeling pad from the garden but did end up with a case of housemaids knee once 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1206 -
Morning, happy Friday 😎
Went for a 5k run this morning at 6.30. I intended to walk more than run but I surprised myself by running the whole way and feel so much better for it. Added bonus of a good portion of my steps done first thing. Thankfully the cold has amounted to nothing and disappeared.
So I have the scrubbing brush to look forward to today and revealing the original colour of my kitchen floor. DD commented that it's Mr SA's constant shuffling in and out of the garden that's done it. I spend a fair bit of time cleaning up after him and his trail of destruction.
I've also got a WW online order on it's way, everything was 25% off at the beginning of the week so have ordered all my snacks to keep me going during September.
Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday, the weekend is almost here 🎉

Lucky you with a new greenhouse! I hope it goes up smoothly. The run sounds good too. It's amazing what a difference it can make.

Happy new greenhouse SA. I actually think we got our greenhouse from the same place and it's really good and solid and we live on a very windy hill. DH managed to build all of it himself apart from needing help getting the glass panes in on the roof.
