Sun_Addict said:Well we got back from Greece just in the nick of time didn't we. Scotland and Wales have to quarantine on return and it's pretty obvious England will follow suit. The infection rate is still well below 20 and it's actually the UK folks taking the virus with them to Greece it should be them banning us. I heard of a whole plane load being tested on arrival in Zante earlier this week. I'm glad we've been, had a lovely time and now back home safe and sound. I've no plans to travel anywhere else this year, will miss our October Lanzarote holiday but it will have to wait until next April when hopefully things will be better, not booking anything until next year though.
Sorry to hear Mr Sa had an accident, I use biological wash liquid on any wee that gets on my carpet, the enzymes break down the stuff that creates a smell apparently. Our dog has weed on the carpet twice in the last few days so I've been scrubbing away, why does this happen when my carpet cleaner is broke 😡 I've got some puppy pads now just in case and she went for a wee on one last night despite me getting up at 2am to let her out 🙁Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1205 -
I'm so glad you got your holiday as well. It's a shame that people who have been doing everything that's been asked of them are suffering the consequences of those who think only of themselves and are willing to take the risk without a thought of how it impacts on others.
How is Mr SA after his recent mishaps.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -

I booked Lanzarote for April this year back in October 2019 @beanielou but for obvious reasons it got cancelled. This will be the first year in 15 years we haven’t been there 😢
@Toni'sfriend he’s ok today and has finally tidied up the covered area outside where he keeps his scooter. Been nagging him for ages about it.
Went for a run on my treadmill after work, only did just over 2 miles, easing myself back in gently. When I went in Savers this morning there was a woman coughing constantly, a proper hacking cough. She had a mask on but wasn’t exactly keeping her distance. I was out of there pretty sharpish 😱I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Some people just don't get it sadly.

There is one good thing about wearing a mask in public areas & that is that you can mutter unpleasantries & as long as you are not too loud people don't know that you are having a go at them. Why is it that some people just cannot keep their distance? Even before this virus I didn't like people leaning over me to get things off the shelf, you can imagine how I feel now.

It is very diificult these days if you have a persistent cough which I have due to a medical condition which may or may not be sorted eventually. I try to be considerate and do all the things the government suggests with regard to coughing into the crook of my arm, social distancing etc but sometimes it just starts and is very difficult to stop. Believe me coughing (or sneezing ) when wearing a mask is not a pleasant experience and it is not always practical to just leave a shop and you certainly dont want to change your mask there and then as any virus that may be on it would end up floating around. I find myself apologising to all and sundry and explaining it is not covid as it has been going on for quite some time and the doctor knows about it.

@ladyholly that must be a pain for you in the current climate. This particular lady was filling her basket with cough remedies so obviously not a condition. As we are now heading into cough and cold season it’s going to be difficult to tell if it’s the virus or just a seasonal thing.

Morning 😎
Another day another dollar. Feels like Groundhog Day, every day is the same.
Dark, gloomy and raining here this morning. Hoping the weather clears up at the weekend as DS and family are off on their holidays, the GKs don't know yet, they had their May holiday cancelled so didn't want to tell them about this one just in case it ended in disappointment again.
The highlight of my day will be my Amazon delivery of the Pinch of Nom food journal planner, I know how to live 🤣 Looking forward to getting it and using it to plan my meals etc and I love a new notebook 😁 I'm a bit of a devil for buying new cook books too and still haven't made anything from my Deliciously Ella Quick & Easy or the Batch Lady books, must make more of an effort.
Have a fabulous day x

SA Yes it is a pain at the best of times which is not at the moment. I always try to supress it when in enclosed spaces but it is not always possible. Perhaps one day my appointment at the hospital will hit the top of the list.
