Yes the malarky at the vet at the moment is not great.
Not the best with my boys sadly.
No sunshine here today sadly.

Ugh Mr SA has had a fall not long ago, unfortunately wet himself and the hall carpet 😩 Have spent quite a while trying to clean it up with disinfectant before it smells 😩 This time last week was enjoying a nice meal out in Zante, talk about back to earth with a bump 😩 He’s gone to bed now as it’s made him tired so the upside is I can watch whatever I want on TV.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Sorry to hear of Mr SA's latest mishap - not great for you as well. ☹️ At least you can have a peaceful evening watching what you want.Re your remark about people assuming one drives. I got that as well at the new optician the other day. He started talking about my new glasses and driving and was taken aback when I interrupted him and said I didn't drive!
Hope your cold is waning - treat it with more wine!🤪Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

SA we have used rescue remedy to calm 2 of our dogs a bit. It just makes them slightly sleepy. (works on the Jack Russell and staffie cross but forget it with the border collie) It might be worth a try. There is also some tablets you can buy at the pet shop but I have never found they work very well with any of ours. Of course different brands may work better. With regard to Mr SAs accident have you tried the stuff you can buy for pet accidents. I dont know if it would work but again might be worth a try. The reccomendation for dog urine is biological washing detergent which helps kill the smell - might work with human version. Good luck

@Seasidegal58, yes my optician tried to get me to have expensive vari-focals for driving. Promptly put him in his place, shock horror I don’t drive 😁 Cold is more or less gone now, panic over.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Morning all 😎
Was woken up this morning by the dog being sick, cue more disinfectant and clearing up 🤢
Was thinking about going for a run earlier but still not 100% so might leave it until next week now, I'll see how I go.
Pleased to see lots of peppers and tomatoes ready to pick from the plants I got earlier this summer. I've also got another lemon come up, bigger than the last one. Still want to get a greenhouse, have seen quite a few but being put off by how hard they'll be to put up, DS has offered to help though. Not sure whether an aluminium framed one would be better maintenance wise.
Will need to nip to Savers this morning as Mr SA has run out of Lypsyls again, I don't know what he does with them, I bought him 5 to take on holiday and he can't find any of them!! He's obsessed with them and everything stops if he needs to put some on it becomes a top priority.
Have a fabulous day x

Well we got back from Greece just in the nick of time didn't we. Scotland and Wales have to quarantine on return and it's pretty obvious England will follow suit. The infection rate is still well below 20 and it's actually the UK folks taking the virus with them to Greece it should be them banning us. I heard of a whole plane load being tested on arrival in Zante earlier this week. I'm glad we've been, had a lovely time and now back home safe and sound. I've no plans to travel anywhere else this year, will miss our October Lanzarote holiday but it will have to wait until next April when hopefully things will be better, not booking anything until next year though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
