Feeling slightly better tonight but it’s fair to say I haven’t done a lot today. Lots of washing dried, ironed and put away. Holiday stuff has gone back in the suitcases for hopefully next April in Lanzarote 🙏 Did a bit of garden tidying too. I don’t plan to leave the house until I’m sure it’s just a cold. Back to work tomorrow boo, but obviously still working from home. I’ve got my feet up with a glass of wine right now but will be having an early night as I’m shattered and still on Greek time 2 hours ahead yawn 🥱I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Morning all, happy September 😎
Bit of an autumnal nip in the air this morning but the sun is shining. Still got the sniffles, it seems to be worse when I first get up and improves over the course of the day - it's not keeping me awake at night thankfully.
Mr M shopping has arrived with nothing missing.
Must crack on with getting back to exercise/diet/finances routine now I'm back at work and out of holiday mode.
Have a great day everyone, enjoy the 1st day of September x

Toni'sfriend said:Onebrokelady - Hope I didn't frighten you. There was a big demonstration at the Brandenburg Gate and people tried to storm the Reichstag. Some are denying that there is a virus and it's all a hoax and others are protesting against lockdown measures, wearing masks, etc. It wasn't just Berlin. Other places as well including London and Paris. I was just trying to make the point that there are people everywhere who are putting people at risk. I'm sure your daughter's friend is fine. So sorry if I alarmed you.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1205

Glad you were feeling slightly better this morning, funnily this cough I've got is really bad during the day but I'm ok once I'm in bed, I think it's because I've been taking codeine this week at bedtime and it dries everything out so I'm not as clogged up. I'm ok first thing but get worse as the day goes on
I also can't believe it's September already, this might have been one of the fastest years ever which is strange seeing as we have all been stuck at home all this timeOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1204 -
Well that's day 1 back at work done, was ok once I got back into the swing of it.
Now I'm feeling better I'm going to go for a walk in the lovely sunshine as I've been pretty much chained to my desk all day and need to get the step count up.
Made an appointment with the vet for my dog's annual health check and vaccination and they've asked me to 'park my car at the goods entrance, ring and they'll come and get her'. It annoys me when people assume everyone has a car. So the upshot is I wait in the car park until they collect her, I can't go in with her so hopefully it won't be raining. Not looking forward to this appointment as the dog is very wary of people she doesn't know and can get quite snappy, she has to wear a muzzle at the vets. She'll be very distressed having to be taken away from me even if it is only for a short time. I wonder if there's anything you can give pets that get distressed to calm them down? The thing is if the vet came to our house she'd be jumping all over them it's when she's away from her own territory.
Received £47.71 interest for the ISA today which is better than nothing. I've stayed with this ISA as, although the new rate is lower, it's comparable to most other rates around at the moment so has saved faffing about.
