Just read about Mr SA having another fall and you having to get him up and now I'm worried about your back. I know there's a thing called an ELK lifting cushion which is horrendously expensive (
) but you might be able to look into a grant towards it. I've used one with a client before and apart from having to be permanently on charge it's very portable and does the job with minimal stress to everyone. Mind you I think the ELK model is one of a series and it might be a case of reading around to see if that's the most appropriate model for him.
