sashybo said:SA, we had a big thunderstorm on Friday night as well and my nappy wash nearly got completely soaked, was so glad I had taken it in as was going to leave it until after the kid's bedtime. 😱
I really enjoyed the dance music on radio 1 all weekend as well, it was much better than it normally is at the weekend. 😊 The kids had good fun dancing along as well, DD just starts moving as soon as she hears a beat and DS likes to shout "Shake ya bum!" 😂
The hydrangea sounds lovely and a good price for a decent sized one. My hydrangea is just white so not very exciting.

The Hydrangea sounds lovely SA and a good price for a large one, there's quite a few in my road but they are blue or pink, I bought one a couple of year ago that was a deep pink with green in the inner edges of the flowers,it was stunning but I forgot to cover it up when I let the 🐓🐓out one day and they ate the whole thing, I could have cried and did threaten them both with the casserole dish that day 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8947

I had a pink hydrangea but it got too big so I pruned it right back. It hasn’t died but hasn’t flowered this year.....I’m presuming it must flower on old wood and will flower again next year on this years growth......I’m guessing here but will give it a chance to do something next year before I ditch it. Your blues one sounds lovely.
i really hope you get your holiday.January spends - £587.585 -
Morning folks, happy Tuesday 😎
Received cancellation number 3 this morning - the airport lounge booking. They've decided to close due to low passenger numbers in the airport. To be honest I was thinking about cancelling this anyway as you could no longer go and help yourself to hot drinks/food and there had been tales of long waits due to being understaffed. Should know about the holiday itself on Sunday as Jet2 plan to restart flights back to the islands on 10 August. The way the news is currently sounding we're all heading for another lockdown, it's so depressing, it's really getting to me. All these companies going into administration or making lots of staff redundant, it's the whole knock-on effect, so sad.
Took the dog for a long walk this morning to clock up some steps, she wasn't too keen because I had to physically pick her up out of bed, she can be really lazy at times.
Mr M online shop coming later with only one item missing and finally Mr SA's beer is back in stock so I won't have to go to the big Mr T's tonight. Having said that it's the highlight of my week at the moment going into a reasonably sized shop that sells all sorts 🤣
Have a fabulous day everyone x
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
I can relate to it getting to you. Our new lockdown has got to me this time......and going to a big store too.....although I felt the need to go somewhere different from my big Morrison’s for a greeting card yesterday. It just got to me more when I saw my empty town though.....we will turn a corner and hopefully have learned a lot along the way 🤔
fingers still crossed for your holiday 🤞🤞
Poor dog getting walked and walked....I suspect they’ll be a lot of dogs that’ll miss their humans when they return to work but will secretly be glad of a rest 😂😂😂January spends - £587.588 -
Aw, SA. Things are all so uncertain for you just now plus you have Mr SA to cope with. It's no wonder that things are getting to you. You're such a resilient person normally that I'm sure this is just a temporary feeling. Think we're all feeling a bit the same at times. Take care.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8

Busy day work wise today, passed in a blur. Had a bit of a headache, too much screen time, so went for a long walk after work. The dog refused to come with me and growled when I tried to put her lead on. Blooming dog 😩 So went on my own. Although I live in a nice suburb it’s not scenic (apart from some very nice houses and gardens and long range views from tops of the hills) it’s a fairly long walk to the river and countryside (maybe close to an hour). This is why I’m going stir crazy, it’s so near and yet so far. When we had a car it was literally 15 minutes to the countryside at the most.Did a short stretching session via the WW app afterwards which felt good.
Have booked Friday off work as it’s predicted over 30 degrees again ☀️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
