He has sweeteners in his coffee bad memory 🤔 He’s not on antibiotics right now but has been in the past. I think the chemo has a lot to do with it to be honest. We don’t have a local Jewish shop, we live in a predominantly Catholic area, mainly Italian and southern Irish. Years ago I used to eat sugar free mints and they gave me horrendous stomach pains 😩 I can’t see him eating unleavened bread. I’ve got flatbread in the freezer and he’s not interested. He’s a nightmare with food, wants chips and bread with everything 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Would he eat soda bread? That doesn't have yeast in. Would he accept it as a special treat? Sorry to keep putting my oar in but I know what it is like if some foods don't agree, like sweeteners. It gets even worse when someone tells you that those foods cannot possibly be the problem. There is not much worse than having a meal that you have enjoyed & even said how much you have enjoyed it, to then start having to pay for it because "something" was in it.

Morning all, happy Monday 😎
Thank you for the suggestions badmemory. I've often wondered if it's the fibre in wholemeal bread. He had a lot of tummy problems when he was in hospital so they tested him and found e-coli in his gut. Maybe he needs something to put good bacteria in his stomach although I've tried him on the Yakult type drinks and he hated them. He's a bit of a nightmare.
When I go on my run I pass a greengrocers that sells lovely plants and have been admiring their deep blue hydrangeas for a couple of weeks. It doesn't open until 7.30 though so have always been too early to purchase. So this morning I walked up with the dog and Mr SA on his scooter. It's gorgeous and was £14.50 which I think is very reasonable as it's quite big and has loads of flowers. Where I live almost everyone has at least one blue hydrangea in their front gardens, we must have the right type of soil, they're almost like weeds they're everywhere. I think we're about the only ones without one - until today of course 😀
Was supposed to be meeting friends for lunch this Friday but so far one isn't keen and wants to postpone and one isn't bothered either way. I don't know what I want to do to be honest.

SA, we had a big thunderstorm on Friday night as well and my nappy wash nearly got completely soaked, was so glad I had taken it in as was going to leave it until after the kid's bedtime. 😱
I really enjoyed the dance music on radio 1 all weekend as well, it was much better than it normally is at the weekend. 😊 The kids had good fun dancing along as well, DD just starts moving as soon as she hears a beat and DS likes to shout "Shake ya bum!" 😂
The hydrangea sounds lovely and a good price for a decent sized one. My hydrangea is just white so not very exciting.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Well I've had birthday meals for this and next Friday postponed by the others - two cancellations in one day 😢 Obviously I understand why no one wants to take the risk but I'm still disappointed 😢 What a carp year 😢
On a slightly more hopeful note, there is news of the ban on travelling to the Canaries being lifted this week, which would make sense as they are safe plus off the coast of Africa and nowhere near Spain. The UK is actually closer to them than Spain. If this is the case then if my Ibiza trip is cancelled I'll be transferring it to Lanzarote. In fact I was torn between Ibiza and Lanzarote for my birthday as they are both my favourite places. So keeping my fingers crossed on that one 🤞
On the finances front I had a very small underspend of £1.69 on the grocery budget last week which I'm happy with.
