I’m pleased you’ve managed to think of a way to get out and meet up with your new to be friends. Enjoy.
It’s lovely that you saw your gks especially as it’s Gd birthday. It sounds as if you made a good choice with the birthday present too.
I’m getting excited as I’m travelling to see mine tomorrow after work. I finish at 12.15 so dh and ds are picking me up and we’ll be off. I could do without a 5 plus hour drive but it’ll be worth it. Right that said I need to go and pack 😀January spends - £587.587 -
How exciting for you @milann going to see your GKs, hope you have a lovely time 💕
Was a pretty busy day at work today, lots of virtual meetings. Had a video call with DGD too, she’s thrilled with all her presents and had a great time horse riding. After work took the dog for a walk to get the steps count up, we got soaked as it was drizzling. After that did the Pilates booty exercises before a nice long soak in the bath. Hopefully I won’t be too sore for my Friday morning run.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Morning all, happy Friday 😎
Have been out for my run, I didn't really feel like it but I made myself do it and enjoyed it in the end. I'm getting a bit quicker too. Today's WW app workout is Total Body Express so will do that later. Dog walking to do too.
The weather is looking better for today onwards which is good because I have the biggest pile of washing to do.
Will be a quieter day at work today with only a virtual presentation to go to, thinking about finishing a bit earlier.
Have a great day everyone.

Today was a planned NSD scuppered by the window cleaner arriving, not complaining because he hasn't been for a few weeks -fortunately I'd drawn the cash out of the bank when he was due last month, so out of last month's budget. Talking of cash, Mr SA has been complaining about his lack of £10 a week spending money over the last few weeks and has calculated I 'owe' him over £100. He even brought his empty wallet to show me. Yet again explained to him he isn't going anywhere to need cash and nowhere is accepting it at the moment plus I don't want to use the cash point if I can help it. AND as grocery bills are rather higher than normal right now the money is going towards that. Then unbelievably he started talking about shopping on holiday, after all I told him about it's going to be a bit different this year and I am most definitely NOT mooching around the shops like we normally do for him to look for yet another bum bag/wallet/watch. Can you tell I'm a bit cheesed off 🤣
I can feel an early gin coming on 😒I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

My heart goes out to you SA. You're in a 'no win' situation, and it must be very difficult to cope with. X
