How did we suddenly get back to Sunday afternoon? The weekend - blink and you'll miss it.
Insanity Live class done this morning plus a trek with the dog round the block and up a few of our local very steep hills.
Meal plan done for next week, once again mostly using up what I've got in stock. Next week's Mr M order will be a bit more than usual as running out of so many things.
Finances done and the totals at the end of week 1 of the budget are:
VSP £448.64/£600
Emergency fund £4450.00/£10,000 - £50 added today
Home Improvements £3000.00 - have had a recommendation for a door/window company so will be contacting them for a quote, I don't think I'll have enough in this pot so it might have to wait.
Regular Saver £250 - started a new one up, committed to saving £250 a month for a year
Holiday fund £920.00 - almost there
Credit card £0
I have an underspend of £24.75 this week, £4.75 went to the VSP and £20 to the spend pot. The spend pot will no doubt be needed for Mr SA's list of holiday clothes I have a sneaky feeling he's going to come up with in the very near future. Today has been a NSD, the first one of July.
Hope everyone has had a great weekend 😁

Your number crunching looks good 👏👏
I’m pleased you got to see the GKs - how can you stop them hugging you. I’m seeing mine next weekend and then having them here for a week in August - although after seeing them winding each other up whilst we were FaceTime I got this afternoon I’ve realised it could be an interesting week 😱😂 with schools being shut to them they are seeing too much of each other.....
I’m excited for you about the holiday. Have a well deserved break when it gets here.January spends - £587.586 -

Morning all, happy Monday 😎
Been for a run this morning, gosh it was cold and windy. Maybe that warm up jacket will have to be purchased sooner than I thought! I'm going to try and factor in a couple of Pilates or yoga sessions this week - Tuesday and Thursday would be good as they are my non-running days. Feel the need for a good stretch.
Weight wise, I will be tracking using my WW app this week. Need to lose 1lb to be back within goal range so that's the next mini goal. Meal plan is set for the week so no excuse for straying from it.
Money wise it will be a spendy week for groceries but should manage to stay within budget. Also need to go to Savers. Going to aim for 4 NSDs this week, today should be the first one.
I also plan to keep on with learning Spanish, day 87 today and doing well with it, I've learned loads, some of it useful, some I can't ever envisage saying eg "mi gato es muy bonito" - "my cat is very pretty" can't really see me using that phrase on holiday 🤣 Reminds me of the first time I learned Spanish, we were in a restaurant in Menorca and we moved tables half way through the night. I explained this to the waitress in Spanish, she then went off to find someone who could speak Spanish as she couldn't - oh well at least I made an effort 🤣
Well that's my intentions set for the week 😀 Have a good one folks.

Wishing you a good week... especially factoring pilates / yoga which I am failing to do....As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

I love the way you commit and stick to things.....I’m full of good intentions and they don’t often materialise into much more.....January spends - £587.587

I’m afraid I don’t always stick to my plans, what’s a good idea on Monday morning has often gone off piste by Wednesday 😩 I keep trying though...
Took the dog for a walk after work to boost the step count. I didn’t realise how warm it had become and was the only person wearing a coat. I’m enjoying ploughing up the very steep hills round here as a bonus round to the exercise routine. The friendship group I joined has already started doing meet ups. There’s one on Saturday at a local park, would like to go but wondering what I can say to Mr SA as he’s not going to like it. I can’t take the dog as she just barks when you talk to people and would spoil it. This is the problem I have with Mr SA, he doesn’t like me doing anything that doesn’t include him. He doesn’t even have his afternoon sleeps anymore where I could sneak off. It’s so blooming annoying 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
