Sorry to hear Mr SA is being so unpleasant, I'm not surprised you're feeling down. Having to clean up the poo is just awful, for him to do it in the first place is bad but then to deny it. 🤷♀️
I hope you can get him to cut down on the drinking, is there any way you can hide the booze and he only gets a set amount a day? Or would that cause too many tantrums and more hassle for you? ☹️
I hope you enjoy your gin cocktail masterclass, that sounds great. 🍸

He’s sulking at the moment and claiming he’s not drinking ever again. We’ll see how long that lasts. I’d hidden the weekend beer and he found it. He can be very devious. I feel like I’m looking after a giant toddler 😩
Took the dog on the park this morning, she had a good run.Today has been a NSD.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Well his no drinking lasted until 5pm. To be honest he’s taking it steady though not pouring down his throat like normally.
I’ve graduated from C25K - done ✅I feel down tonight, really cheesed off and all thanks to Mr SA. He’s kept a low profile all day, not seen much of him thankfully. I belong to a carers group at work and find it hard to relate to the other members as they all seem to think caring for someone is rewarding. I really don’t feel this way at all. Rewarding - definitely not 👎
I can’t even go out and have a browse round the shops or meet friends for lunch. There’s just no escape.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -
I so feel for you.
I really do.
Not that that's any helpxx

On a more positive note, I had a NSPCC charity bag through the door and already had 4 bags of clothes etc ready for collection. Happy to report they were picked up this morning 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Not surprised you feel down
, Mr SA is being a total plonker and you don’t deserve that. Wish we were closer, we could socially distance dog walk together (with hip flasks of gin when necessary!!!)..
I wouldn’t use the word ‘rewarding’ either XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I don't think it is rewarding at all. Sorry - I am not a carer and I don't have much experience of it, I don't do much for mum at all and at least she says thank you, but I watch my sister with her partner, she just keeps going, he can be angry, refuse food, refuse to do anything. He watches tv programmes on repeat for hours. he can be funny and sweet as well and likes our visits but between the moods and the illnesses it is all stressful. She gets to speak to my Mum and see me with food once a week. He doesn't especially know what is going on, remembers some stuff and not other things. Like who she is sometimes. She works so hard with him every single day and has given up everything that is hers or that she did. I know I couldn't do it. I know that. I have told Mum, it won't be me for that kind of care. I have such admiration - which I know isn't helpful for you SA and you Lucky. But honestly I do. And love.
I really hope Mr SA is ok. that is awful about the garden. And that you get some time over the weekend to do something you want to do.

Nevertheless she persisted.13 -
What would happen if you didn't buy him any beer SA, maybe tell him you aren't funding his beer habit until he learns not to be so unpleasant towards you, I know he can't help some of his behaviour because of the brain injury but drinking that much won't be helping at all 😟Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,89412
