Well it’s been an odd day today.DGD only had the blood tests today not the results which should be back Monday.Bumped into the work colleague who lost his partner at the weekend while on the park walking the dog this morning. He wanted to talk but he was getting upset and crying it was so sad 😞 What can you say apart from I’m so sorry. Just dire 😞
Another work colleague has given me some tomato plants and she very kindly dropped them off. It was lovely to have a socially distanced chat in the drive.
Have booked myself onto a virtual gin cocktail masterclass run by Slug and Lettuce. It was £13 for the ticket, all proceeds to NHS, which includes everything to make 4 drinks delivered before the event, then you watch the class on Instagram and make the drinks. Never done anything like this before so looking forward to it. Sold out now by the way.Have had an argument with Mr SA tonight over beer 😩 I get him some different beers for the weekend and he’s already drunk them behind my back. He’s been hassling me to death about going out to fetch him some more tomorrow and I’ve refused as he has plenty of other beer. He got quite nasty about it and told me to b*****r off and leave. Apparently he can manage without me. Really?? I’m quite cross at the moment 😡 Can’t you tell he’s better.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -
Forgot to say, DIL’s brother is a paramedic and he’s had the Covid test, it came back he’s already had it. He can’t remember being ill at any stage so it just shows you.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

We were all tested at work last week to see if we have antibodies, we get our results at the end of next week apparently,it will be interesting to see how many staff have had it but not had symptoms, we had a few kids through our ward that tested positive but had no symptoms at all, you would not have known they had it at all which is scary 🙀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,89410

It really is a scary virus with the varying degrees of illness it causes. How can a person have it and not even know and then the next person be so poorly they need a long time in ICU - all from the same virus.....And what are the long term effects to those who have had it badly. There are a lot of questions to be answered...the trouble is the more we seem to know about it the more questions are raised .......I’m quite pleased we have the clever folk out there trying their best to answer them. There’s a long way to go yet but we’d be a lot worse off without them.
Hope the blood tests went ok.Mr SA doesn’t know how lucky he is having you looking after him. He must get frustrated and they always say they take it out on those dearest to them. Why can’t he just drink the beer he has in....😡 Men.......January spends - £587.5810 -
My DS just got his antibody test back and he's had Covid, though at the time his symptoms (loss of taste and smell) weren't counted so he worked through it! That's not quite as bad as it sounds as he works on a Covid ward, but when you think how many known symptoms aren't allowed as a reason to self-isolate, it's quite scary.
I hope you get good news from your DGD's blood tests.

Morning all, happy Friday
Not really got that Friday feeling at the moment after Mr SA's escapades last night after I posted. I thought he'd gone to bed but he was actually outside for some reason. A bit later I let the dog out and the dog was sniffing round his scooter and wouldn't come back in. I went out and under the scooter cover was a bucket of human poo. I cleaned it up but it was a most unpleasant task 🤢 I really can't understand why he did this, he denied he'd done it of course but it was pretty obvious, who else could it be? I've told him he must cut down on his drinking it obviously doesn't agree with him. Just recently he's brought forward his beer o'clock to as early as 4pm while I'm still working. At one time this was his lay on the bed and watch Tipping Point time. This means by the time I finally sit down after dinner around 8pm he's already been drinking for 4 hours and he's quite argumentative which doesn't make for a very pleasant evening for me. Anyway I've told him this has to stop, I'm not saying he can't drink, just to not start so early. Rant over but I feel a quite down this morning I don't want to be battling with him all the time.
In other news I couldn't go for my early morning run, which is the final day of C25K because it was pouring with rain. Will do after work probably on the treadmill if it's raining.

This business where a lot of people seem to have had Covid and not known makes me wonder if there's anything in the theory that this is the second wave. Mr SA was very poorly earlier this year with all the symptoms of Covid - very high temperature, loss of taste, hacking cough and his chest was really bad enough for me to think he had pneumonia at one stage, he could barely breathe. It took him a few weeks to get it out of his system. I caught it but it was a lot milder. We had lots of people at work off sick with it at the same time, took them weeks to shake it off. Makes you wonder...I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10
