Sorry you've been having such a difficult time with Mr SA. The fact he is being quiet means he knows he's gone to far I reckon.
Glad you had a pampering session and I hope it made you feel better.
I hope you get good news about DGD on Monday. The fact that's she's lively sounds like a good sign. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

You have more patience than I would have .
On the subject of treating him like a child, why not “train” him to put the sheet on the bed properly by asking him to help you put it on next time. Then you can judge whether he can do it and is just wilfully deciding its your job, or whether he needs more “training” to be able to do it. There might be other tasks that you can test him out on, that might mean you can eventually delegate some household chores to him, in the knowledge that he can actually do them.8 -
Maybe a test and reward system? He doesn't get his beer unless he does something to help you, like a chore or makes a cup of tea or sandwich for youI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Just catching up, I had Labrnythitis back in January, luckily for me the sickness and room spinning only lasted 5 hours but it felt like the longest 5 hours ever.
It took me a week to feel able to drive, I only walked my dogs in the dark as there was less for my brain to cope with and I just felt out of sorts.
It took 2 weeks to feel anywhere normal.
It happened while I was under a lot of stress with my ex harassing me and I did wonder whether I had got so run down I was ripe for getting it as I'm not normally ill.
Glad Mr SA is feeling better with it but annoyed that he is treating you badly. You really are a saint.
Hope DGD results show nothing serious.

Afternoon all, thank you for your kind comments 💕
Mr SA still keeping a low profile although unfortunately didn’t make it to the toilet in time last night so was cleaning up after him yet again 😩 He hasn’t got much beer left now so we’ll see if he tries to get me to go to the shops tomorrow. The scooter shop is coming to pick up his scooter for repair tomorrow, he’s been without it since March. Hopefully it will be fixed quickly and at least I’ll get a bit of a break when he takes the dog out.
Insanity class cut out halfway through and couldn’t get it back so ended up doing Friday’s Joe’s PE. Took the dog on the park between rain showers.Found a C25K graduate podcast so will start using that until I feel ready to go for C210K. It’s designed to build up speed.
Meal plan for the week is done and I’ve made some soup for work lunches. Will do finances tomorrow as the spreadsheet is on my work computer and I forgot to forward it to my laptop. I know I’ve got a small underspend at the end of week 1 of the budget though which is good 😁 Another NSD today 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Just catching up and so sorry to hear what you are having to put up with from Mr SA.
That's certainly the unpleasant side of caring.
On the other hand, brilliantly well done on completing C25K! You are now a mere week behind me as you are far more consistent and I'm too tired most days with changes to work. Let me know what 10K feels like when you get there!

Morning all, happy Monday 😎
Tried out the C25K graduate podcast this morning, it's quite good and includes music at the bpm you should be aiming to run. My legs felt like lead today so probably not the best run but it's done. Cherry if I'm not strict with myself and stick to 3 times a week I'll lose interest, trying to make it a habit.
The scooter shop have already been to pick up Mr SA's scooter. Hopefully it won't take them long to fix it. Let's get him out of the house for a bit!
Planning to have a go at this week's Fly Lady with the aim of doing one thing per hour in my screen break if I can. The problem is once I get into the working day I often forget about the screen breaks and Fly Lady.
Got a reminder from Jet2 that my holiday balance is due this week. The money is there waiting in the bank - not getting my hopes up the holiday will go ahead - but you never know.

Had to facetime DGD earlier as she was upset because she hasn't seen me for so long. It's a shame the weather was rubbish at the weekend, they could have come and sat in the garden. Surely it won't be too much longer before we're allowed family inside the house. She should get her blood test results today.
Finances have been done and had an underspend of £17.87. £7.87 has gone into my VSP and £10 has been put aside in another pot, going to see how much I can get in there by the end of the month (don't hold your breath 🤣) VSP now stands at £386.60 and is my Christmas fund, aiming for at least £600.
