Yes SSG DD gave the go ahead to eat the cakes. It’s a tray of around 24 small sponge cream cakes DD got reduced from £6 to 40p. Advantage of her being on the late shift. I will admit I succumbed to one with my afternoon coffee, it was ok but I don’t really like cream so wouldn’t be tempted again. Was on a carer’s dial in via work this afternoon. Not the one the Queen attended by the way. Really felt for one woman who was having to care for her husband who normally has carers come in, plus she lost her daughter to cancer 3 months ago so has her teenage granddaughter living with her, she looks after her sons 2 kids during the day as he and his wife are key workers, then she’s working from home for our place on top of all this as a key worker herself 😩 Really don’t know how she’s coping, Mr SA is a doddle in comparison.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10

Would they have rung if the results were anything urgent?
Well done on the impromptu run - as you say, all your training has paid off!

I hope the news continues to be good XXXNevertheless she persisted.10 -
Morning folks, happy Friday 😎
Yes, I think the hospital would've called them in sooner if anything untoward came up - well you would hope so. DS still thinks it's a bladder infection as that's where the problems lie, blood detected in urine and struggling to go.
Jet2 have taken the August holiday balance today so let's see what happens with this holiday. Not holding my breath but you never know.
Fly Lady is the master bedroom today so will tackle that in short bursts. Kept up with it all week, pleased about that.
Have a good day everyone - the weekend is almost here 😁

Fingers crossed for granddaughter- no news is good news and the GP’s response sounded promising too.
Its good that Mr SA has his wheels again. At least he getting out a bit - it must really be a shock to him as he’s not been out for such a long time. The queues and masks - who’d ever have imagined it.
I watched Michael McIntyre last week and there was a sketch at the beginning where he saw a fortune teller before the virus started - it was quite funny as she predicted - being locked in for months, no holidays, no school and parents becoming teachers, no pubs or restaurants etc.......it was laughable......if only it hadn’t been true 😳
Fingers crossed with the holiday 🤞 we have to hope👍January spends - £587.589 -
Morning all, happy Monday
Well the weekend whizzed by. I was a bit off colour on Friday, I felt very light-headed and kept going dizzy also had heart flutterings so to be on the safe side I took it easy and didn't go for a run. Thankfully all gone now. A few years ago I had a similar problem with my heart fluttering and going dizzy so I went to the doctors and it was sinus arrhythmia which is common with athletes and children. Basically it was the exercise that was causing it and nothing to worry about. As I have recently upped my cardio exercise I'm assuming I've set it off again. My average resting heart rate is 56 bpm which is good. Anyway I did Insanity yesterday and felt better for it, also went for a run this morning.
DD came home from work yesterday armed with hand sanitiser and washable face masks as from today she'll need them to travel to work in a taxi. Bearing in mind she's been travelling to work in a taxi all through lockdown this seems a tad like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted! The taxi firm she uses don't always have the cleanest taxis so I would hope that they are going to actually start cleaning them for passengers, works both ways.
Finances are done and at the end of budget week 2 I have an underspend of £34.70. £4.70 has gone into my VSP and the £30 has been added to my end of month pot which now holds the princely sum of £40. VSP now holds £391.30. CC paid off in full.
