I agree it works both way and taxis should have to clean their cabs more often.
Im pleased you are feeling better and you took things easier for a while.Any news about gdds results yet?January spends - £587.585 -
Just spoken to DS and nothing untoward has come up in DGD’s blood tests. It showed raised lymphocytes which points towards an infection that’s no doubt passed by now. They took another blood sample to test for diabetes and kidney function and said if they don’t hear anything in the next few days come back in a month’s time. So good news on that front thank goodness 😁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Sun_Addict said:DD came home from work yesterday armed with hand sanitiser and washable face masks as from today she'll need them to travel to work in a taxi. Bearing in mind she's been travelling to work in a taxi all through lockdown this seems a tad like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted!
I never knew that about sinus arrythmia. I had it for a long time and the doctor wasn't concerned. however it cleared up after I started on thyroid medication.
I feel as you do about locking the stable door after the horse has bolted. We have just had national training on PPE, just as things seem to be quietening down at last. My employer had produced their own, substantially the same, a couple of months ago.

Morning folks, happy Tuesday 😎
Got a busy day at work today, lots of meetings this morning and a resilience workshop this afternoon.
Mr M shop coming this morning, only one item missing and no subs 🎉
Still keeping up with Fly Lady and today is kitchen and dining room, although the kitchen and bathroom are cleaned on a daily basis as with most people. Cleaning for me is never-ending thanks to Mr SA and the dog forever traipsing back and forth from the garden and neither of them wipe their feet! Mr SA is also very messy when he makes a coffee and always spills it.
Exercise wise - not sure what I'm doing today, not a running day and I won't have time to do Joe's PE live. I notice Joe is cutting down the days he does the live PE to 3 times a week after this week. Don't blame him he's done it every day for the past 13 weeks plus all the TV appearances etc. Ought to do something like Pilates really to stretch out a bit.
OMG the queues for the shops in city centres yesterday 😮 I've no plans to venture into town for the foreseeable future. Can't see the point in going shopping in town if you can't go for a coffee or pub lunch and the toilets are closed. I bought some towels from the online M&S sale as mine are starting to fray and they are so stiff it's like having a full body scrub every time you use them. Bought Mr SA a couple of huge bath sheets from M&S online a few weeks ago and they are fantastic, so soft. Had £35 in vouchers so got a pair of sandals for myself as well, fingers crossed they fit ok and I won't have to return them. I don't like buying footwear online without trying on but as it's looking increasingly likely that we'll be going on holiday in August I really need a new pair of sandals that aren't battered and I can actually walk in. The reviews were good saying that they are super comfy and look good too. Order is being delivered Thursday.
Anyway must get cracking. Have a great day everyone xx

Lovely to catch up on your news especially about DGD. In awe about all the exercise you do, I wonder if it’s a great stress reliever, as what you do as a carer is so hard and mustn’t be underestimated.
must admit I can’t get my head around people wanting to mix in large crowds as this infection has not gone away. I am also concerned that those furloughed on the government scheme are on a false sense of security as I fear a lot of redundancies when the scheme changes on 1/8 and then when it ends....As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Hope your sandals fit ok SA, I like the shoes from M&S because they do half sizes. I've bought the same pair of sandals in different colours every year for about 6 years now because they're so comfy but still look nice. I'll be gutted if they stop selling them!
Glad to hear that DGD's results were ok.

I'm so glad you got good news about your little Granddaughter.
I'm another one that needs half sizes, Sashybo. Suffered for years before I realised I was wearing the wrong size.
I'll be avoiding big shops as well. Haven't been out since the beginning and getting into online shopping. When I finally feel confident I'll be going to the local butcher, etc but I think I'll continue with getting heavy and bulky things delivered. Better for Himself as well. I think carrying heavy bags was making some of his health problems worse.
Is Mr SA behaving himself?
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8
