Forgot to say one of our pond fish has disappeared 😩 Annoying as they are all quite big and we’ve had them a few years. We have a decoy heron as we’ve lost fish to herons before and it seems to be working. So puzzled as to what’s happened 🤔I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Morning all 😎
Up early again, not running though just chilling with a coffee. Need to nip to Mr T Express and Savers later. Going to enjoy today in the garden and leave indoor jobs until tomorrow when the weather turns cold.
Hope everyone has a good day ☀️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
It sounds as if you’re enjoying the sunshine. Well done on the early morning exercise. I’m very impressed. Pleased the bum bag went down well with MR SA.January spends - £587.588

Hope you had a nice day in the garden SA, after a day like today it's hard to believe it's supposed to be cold tomorrow 🙀 I've been out in the garden this afternoon chopping back more brambles, I've made loads of space and the sun can actually shine on my washing line now, there's loads more to do but like you I'm going to concentrate on indoors tomorrowOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8946

How close are you to a river? My friend lost fish from her pond due to an otter!paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

We seem to gain fish. No idea where they come from but we originally had 8 and we are now up to about 30. I know there were babies last year but some of them are far too big to be last years and are not the original ones.

Morning all, a tad cold and wet here this morning. Got plenty to do indoors although will need to take the dog out at some stage.
We're about 3-4 miles away from the nearest river Honeysucklelou. Lots of foxes though so probably a prime suspect, they make a right racket in the early hours. Ladyholly I wonder if herons are dropping fish and they have a lucky escape in your pond.
Mr SA has managed to break a zip on his bum bag already. I'm not sending it back, it's got loads of other pockets, certainly enough for him. I don't know what he does to zips, he's always breaking them, drives me nuts.
Live Insanity class is at 10.30 so better get my skates on if I want to take the dog out first.....

The fox sounds like prime suspect closely followed by a heron for your fish. The heron has had all our fish- we haven’t stocked the pond up since as we were replacing them at regular intervals. The heron still puts in appearance- just in case it gets a free lunch. Last year when my gks were staying. I’d got up early with them and little one who was nearly 2 at the time loves to sit by the window watching the many planes that go over at regular intervals. She couldn’t get her words out fast enough ‘Look g’ma look......a.....a baby duck’ The heron was on next doors garage roof staring into our pond.....she was absolutely fascinated with it as she’d never seen such a big bird. 😂❤️😂❤️The heron obliged and sat a good while. A baby duck was the only words she had - she knew it wasn’t a run of the mill sparrow or seagull - which is what she sees in her seaside home. I still smile when I think of it.
Pity Mr SA bag has broken since he was so pleased with it.January spends - £587.588 -
milann - the first time DD saw a heron, she was only little and she shouted me to come and look at the dinosaur bird in the garden 🤣 They do look quite scary though, I often see them on the canal towpath next to where I work and when they fly in front of you their wingspan is massive. We used to lose a lot of fish to herons before we got our decoy heron.
Have ordered DGS's birthday present and card and sent it straight to DS's house. I doubt we'll see them before the end of the month.
Noticed the local flower shop has re-opened and the sandwich shop at the end of the road is re-opening tomorrow. I expect this is a pre-cursor to easing of the lockdown restrictions tonight. Will be good to see local businesses being able to welcome customers once again.
Was nice to speak to the lady I go to WW with yesterday and today I had a chat with a lady who lives at the end of the road not seen since lockdown. Everyone is moaning about how much weight they've put on. I think I've more or less stayed around goal weight, not really been eating more, it's the walking to and from work I'm missing, although still exercising.
Insanity was good but tough.
Still need to clean up - urgh. Also need to think about a meal plan, got quite a bit of root veg to use up, might make a veg stew in the slow cooker for work lunches.
