I find Aldi better stocked than Morrison’s - I have both less than a 5 minute walk away, across the road from each other. I used to often park in Morrison’s and nip over to Aldi if I only wanted a few bits as Aldi has a long thin carpark which is nearly always full. The trouble with Aldi atm is the queues can be around the shop and they don’t seem to move very quickly, so I’ve been to Ms recently although on the way home from my walk yesterday evening there was no queue in Aldi so I nippped in to see if they had eggs which I couldn’t get from Ms at weekend. They had loads and big pots of Greek yoghurt....like you say it’s the little things.
The carpet cleaner sounds great.I’m pleased Mr SA seems less confused again. It must really unsettle him as he is with it to know when he has these moments. Must scare you too.January spends - £587.5810 -

Morning all, nice sunny day here
Aldi is about a 25 minutes walk each way from my house, as is Lidl and the big Mr T. Mr M is 4 miles away. The only decent size local supermarket is Iceland. Between the Mr M deliveries, Mr T Express and the odd trip to somewhere different I'm managing. Not sure I'll be tempted to Aldi until all this is over though, it was too risky with the other customers coming so close.
Just tried to take the dog out for an early walk but she ran off and hid when she saw the lead. I guess that's a no then 🤣

Am totally with you on crusts! I credit my curly hair to the power of crusts; are you a curly top too? Love Humdinger x8 -
Humdinger I have wavy-ish rather than curly hair which is why it's always a mess. I've given up trying to straighten it, it just does what it wants. I have to wash it every day as it's such a frizzy mess in the morning I'd never get a brush/comb through it.
Mr M order has arrived and been put away. Only 2 subs and nothing missing - I have SR flour finally 😀🎉 One of the subs made me laugh as I wanted Flash and it was out of stock so ordered the Mr M own brand which was substituted for the Flash I wanted in the first place 🤣 Have managed to get deliveries right up until the end of May now. There were loads of slots available so hopefully this delivery slot nightmare is over 🤞

I was just going to say that you can just use baking powder with the plain flour, I always do. Never bother with the baking soda.
Glad you got some SR flour thoughMy mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

Yes, my life was revolutionised when I finally found a hairdresser with the same hair as me! She told me to rejoice in the curl, and wash it every day, combing through conditioner with an afro comb. Other than that, do nothing apart from possibly adding a bit of curl enhancer to gussy it up even more, because all I would be doing was either stimulating it to a frizz or depressing it to a pancake. I now love my curls. Humdinger x8 -
Well Mr SA has excelled himself with falls today. Ironically the first one happened while I was on a work carer support group call, he came in from the garden trailing blood from his foot. I had to come off the call and clean him up then dress the wound. The second time I was doing my C25K, came downstairs afterwards to get a drink and there he was laid on the patio blood all over his leg. Got him up, dressed the wound. So now he’s covered in bandages. Apparently it’s all because he needs a new bum bag 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
