Yes Bank Holiday has been moved to Friday for VE Day @HairyHandofDartmoor @joeyjimbles. Still only a 4 day week though 😁
When I was physically in the office I used to make Mr SA some sandwiches and leave them in the fridge. He’s not very good at getting meals for himself unfortunately.I’ve enjoyed my week off, got loads done. Pity about the weather but wouldn’t have got so much done if it had been better.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
SA, How easy is the carpet cleaner to use? I bought YEARS ago but never used it. Carpets are now disgusting.
And about feeling low, I really do pretend I am seeing my friends next weekend. On good days I pretend it might be two weeks away, bad days this weekend. I also tell myself this happened so quickly, so any change can happen quickly so the vaccine and whatnot could happen quickly too.

Nevertheless she persisted.10 -

Morning all 😎
Already been to Mr T Express which wasn’t busy thankfully then took the dog on the park. So that’s my 2 allocated slots out of the house done ✅ I’ve now got a bag a sweet potatoes 🍠 Unfortunately no butternut squash though.
@Buffythedebtslayer the carpet cleaner is really easy to use, it’s a Vax Dual Power Pet Advance and was £149 from Amazon. It’s really good at picking up pet hair too, you should’ve seen the amount it picked up - enough to make another dog 🤣
Plans for today are to attend WW Workshop via Zoom, give the whole house a good clean and make a sweet potato, chickpea and spinach curry for tonight.Weather is lovely so hoping to get in the garden at some stage.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10 -
Morning SA,Tea sounds delicious!!! Were having halloumi burgers!I dread to think what the colour of the water of my carpets would be!!!! xxMummytogirls x6

I can’t gel with these virtual WW workshops. I’m not a fan of Zoom so far and I don’t know any of the other members who attend, they’re not my usual Saturday crew. This week’s topic was stress eating and as I can’t face eating when I’m stressed I didn’t gain anything from it. I’m sure it helped others though. Not sure if I’ll bother again. I really miss the proper meetings 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9

Did Joe’s PE this morning then took the dog to the park. I’m still doing my Spanish lessons daily too. Next on the list is manicure/pedicure then day 3, week 4 of C25K.The sun is out now and I’m feeling more positive ☀️😎Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Another gem from Mr SA, he asked me to add some weed killer to the Mr M order for the weeds growing mad at the bottom of the garden. Apparently he’d covered them up with his wheelbarrow for the time being to try and kill them off. He was only referring to my wild flower patch where I planted seeds about 2 years ago and they’ve only just come up. Needless to say I’ve removed the wheelbarrow 😩😱I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10

Came home from being at my friends to find he's 'weeded' the garden and 'got rid of all those weeds that were growing' He's been banned from the garden ever since! I can laugh about it now but I was really upset at the time.

Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Afternoon all 😎
Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Well my week off work is over but at least it's only for 4 days as Friday is a bank holiday. Pleased with all the jobs I got done, shame about the weather not being great but at least I wasn't tempted to sit outside instead.
Took the dog on the park this morning then did an Insanity Live class. The rest of today I've mainly been pottering about getting little bits and bobs done. Will be having a nice long soak in the bath with a face mask shortly. Mr SA has been entertained by his new hosepipe, has tested it out and declared it fantastic. Still haven't done the meal plan for me, I don't know why I just can't get motivated, every recipe I want to cook I haven't got all the ingredients for. Finalised my Mr M shop for Wednesday, so many things I need are out of stock. I'm thinking about having a walk up to Aldi on Tuesday after work when hopefully it won't be so busy.
New budget starts tomorrow and I'm going to make more of an effort to stick to it properly from now on. I need to start getting back to normal with everything, no more using lockdown as an excuse to overspend. Finances are all done and the cc is paid off.
I think I've won the battle over having the spare room re-plastered as Mr SA was examining the walls. Not long afterwards he asked if I'd still got the number for the plasterer we've used before 😊🎉Obviously nothing's going to happen until lockdown starts to ease off but it'll give me a chance to put some money aside in the meantime.
