Tricky  little bum bag tripping Mr SA up.....no wonder he needs a new one😳 Hope he is ok - joking apart. Can’t be much fun for either of you.

Oh dear to Mr SA falling twice , good job you were around. The delivery slots are a blessing for you at least. I hope you continue to get them easily going forward . How are your grandchildren, I bet they are missing you ?

Morning
It wasn’t the bum bag that tripped him up he just falls for no reason. Apparently he needs a new bum bag because the strap isn’t long enough to go round his waist. I suggested he use one of his many other bags but you know what he’s like when he gets an idea in his head. I’ve ordered him one from Amazon and it’s coming tomorrow, it was only £7.99 so can’t complain. I think his falls are getting worse because the weather is good and he’s out in the garden.

Grandkids are doing great, I video message them every so often and they say they miss coming to our house. It’s DGS birthday at the end of the month and I’ll have to send the present straight to their house. I don’t think it will be too much longer before we see them again now. 

Work are already putting together a plan for a phased return to the office depending on who most needs to be there. I’m desperate to get away from Mr SA but I don’t think that would count as a valid reason 🤣

Not been called up to next week’s helpline they have enough people for now, might get called up if it gets busier than expected. 

Every Thursday when the clap for carers is done someone at the back of us blasts out the song Things Can Only Get Better - you know that’s my theme tune 🤣 🌈

I like the idea of ‘things can only get better’ I’ll not tempt fate by saying they can’t be much worse.....as who knows what else could be thrown into the mix 😳
We’ve just been out clapping too and we’re going out again at 9 tomorrow evening singing ‘We’ll Meet Again’ - it’s been part of my working from home this week to learn Makaton for it...but I’ll not be signing in the Ave tomorrow. I just hope after all this the Key workers are truly appreciated with financial appreciation for their services.

Evening all. Happy VE Day. 

You’ll think I’ve lost the plot but did the C25K at 6am not on my treadmill but actually outside. There are very few places on the flat where I live but managed to find somewhere not too hilly to run. Was really pleased as ran for 20 minutes non stop. I really enjoyed it. It was heaven to jump in the shower and have a coffee afterwards. Also did PE with Joe at 9am 👍

Did a few bits of housework then sat in the sunshine reading for the rest of the day. The dog has been a bit of a pain constantly bringing me her ball to throw but at least she’s had plenty of exercise and she’s fast asleep now.

Mr SA’s bum bag arrived and he’s pleased with it thank goodness.

No VE parties on my road today. The majority of folks round here are either Italian or Southern Irish so you don’t see many Union Jack flags 🤣
