I hope work stop messing your around as that would make everything else easier to cope with.
There's not much to be done about Mr SA unfortunately. Perhaps the repair shop will open soon as the government seem to want everyone back at work asap.

I can’t see why they can’t repair Mr SA’s scooter as it would be completely non contact. They could still keep the shop closed to walk in customers. It’s got a bit messy with work as they’re trying to move so fast the lists of who can do what seem to have got mixed up. Too many fingers in the pie. It’s an unprecedented situation unfortunately. As far as I’m concerned tomorrow I’m doing my normal role unless otherwise notified. On a positive note my thumb is improving a lot, still sore but able to do more with it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

It must be so hard SA.
Hopefully it's just a phase and he will find something else to distract him. At least without his scooter you don't have to think about him social distancing. As for going to the theatre! Is a night in with drinks and a relayed theatre production any good?
My work doesn't seem to know what it's doing at the moment either, and it's very unsettling. Remember the good old days when we had normal worries? I'm sure they existed but everything seemed to change so quickly that it's hard to remember.
Maybe invest in some large parcels again and have some 'deliveries' of his forgotten items appear on the doorstep...

I am really surprised that the shop cant/wont repair Mr SAs scooter. What if he was totally reliant on it. I assume that the shop also does wheelchairs and if somone cant get a wheelchair repaired it would be catastrophic for them and possibly confine them to bed let alone the house.

Evening all
I’m not in the helpline this week, doing my usual job. Constantly changing situation though so who knows what next week will bring. At least it’s never boring 🤣
Been in and out of meetings all day so it’s gone by in a blur. Shattered tonight.Mr SA rang the scooter shop and they are closed until June. So another month stuck in the house for him. He only wants to go for a ride round just to get out a bit. I’d just like to get him out of my hair for a bit, he’s driving me insane, I’m getting no respite from him 😩 He’s hassling me to death about his lunch, dinner, etc. He’s already asking what he’s having tomorrow. I’m just trying to relax 😩
Exercise wise have done day 2 week 6 of C25K on the treadmill tonight and did Joe’s PE this morning.Money wise today was another NSD, second one this week, need to start counting them again as there are quite a few. My expense claim for money towards my desk has been approved so should get it in the next few days.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -
I would phone mobility for advice.

When you go out to work do you leave him a sandwich to have at lunch time? If so can you make his lunch in the morning and let him carry on serving himself whilst you are working?10

Beanie - Motability phoned him a couple of weeks ago to see if he'd had it fixed and he only went and told them he was managing ok without it!!!!!! The shop told him he shouldn't be going out anyway as he's in the at risk group.
Debs - because I'm working at home right now I tend to make his lunch when I do mine. Odd days when I know I'll be in a meeting at 12 (the time he appears looking for food) I do make him sandwiches so he can just get them himself. It's all he's got to think about.
Popped to Mr T Express this morning, there was only me and another woman in there so it was great. Then took the dog on the park and we were the only ones there, which was brilliant. I tend to do all the going out of the house stuff first thing before I start work when it's quiet. The assistant in Mr T said it's the best time to go - sadly the same can't be said for the larger Mr T, no time seems to be the best time to go there, which is why I don't bother.
