The old desk has gone, it was picked it up at lunchtime. Glad for it to be put to use and saves me getting rid of it.
Finally got Mr SA to chop up a dead Christmas tree that's been in our garden for 3 years. I've had to put it in the garden waste bin as he can't bend down. Another thing gone.
Have had to buy a proper computer chair to work from as my back is hurting from sitting at a desk on my dining room chair, it's not supportive enough. It's my top back/shoulder area I have trouble with if it's not supported properly. I'll get all the money back from work for it and it's coming tomorrow morning. Received the money towards my desk in my bank today, not the full amount but about 40% of the cost, it all helps and it's making working from home a lot easier.
So along with my shoulders aching, my thumb I hurt a week ago is still tender, although improving slowly, I can move it and there's no swelling thankfully.

Well the woman who took the old desk is chuffed to bits with it. She’s just thanked me yet again and even sent me a photo of it set up in her house. Aw 😁Will be glad of the proper chair tomorrow, my back is aching across my shoulders. Got a busy day so hope it arrives early.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

No it doesn’t SSG but it impedes my ability to write as I can’t hold the pen properly. Have been typing up meeting notes as they happen by putting myself on mute so no one hears the keyboard clattering. Working quite well.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Afternoon all
It's like Grand Central Station here today - the plants from the nursery arrived this morning, followed by my chair, then the postman with a parcel, the window cleaner is here right now and I'm just waiting for my Mr M delivery to turn up. It's all go 🤣
I've put the chair together and it's so comfortable for my back, so much better. I think the dining chair was just slightly too low for the new desk. I can adjust this one to suit.
Had a meltdown this morning when Mr SA put soil and empty compost bags in the recycling bin. He'd made a right mess and I had to fish it all out, think I've got most of the soil out. He really didn't understand why plastic bags and soil wouldn't be recyclable. Bangs head against brick wall 😒 Then he trod loads of soil into the house, big trail of it all the way through. I feel like I spend a great deal of my time clearing up after him which is so frustrating. Wait until he finds out Mr M have substituted the wholemeal bread for white, he'll go mad and I flatly refuse to go to the shops until at least Thursday it won't poison him and he eats white bread rolls and baguettes...

🤬🤬🤬 to Mr SA! How frustrating for you. As you say though - it won't hurt him to eat a bit of white bread.Glad to read that your chair is comfortable - it makes such a difference - I was using my nan's Lloyd loom chair before mine arrived - not good on the bottom and back for a long haul of sitting! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
