You’re worse than me with the notebooks Beanie. You’d love the cupboard behind my desk at work it’s full of them. Sometimes I open it just to admire them 🤣
Skechers are fab, I have a few pairs. I’ve had my Skechers furry boots for over 2 years now, worn them to death and they still look good as new. Unfortunately all this walking has taken its toll and my days of high heels are behind me.Back in the office tomorrow but looking forward to catching up with my work friend at lunchtime 🍷I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Enjoy your catch up

Well done crossing the road at the crossing. It must have brought it all back to you. Please take care and don’t overdo the walking and exercise.I’ve looked at sketchers but since I wear inserts I haven’t succumbed yet, as putting a hard insert over a lovely soft shoe seems very wasteful. I love how light the feel though.January spends - £587.587

Happy Friday folks 😁
Had a lovely catch up with my work friend at lunchtime, she’s been through a lot already this year and told me things she hasn’t told anyone else yet. I’m glad she feels she can tell me first.Walked to and from work again today. Faced the road of doom again but today there were 4 of us crossing at the same time so we went across mob-handed. It will get better as the days go on.
Picked up a few bits from Lidl on the way home, should come in under budget this week though.
WW tomorrow then DS and the GKs are coming.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Sounds like you had a lovely catch up

Well here we are back at Sunday again, another blink and you missed it week!
Despite upping the exercise I put back on the 1.5lbs I lost at WW yesterday. The coach thinks it's because I've upped the exercise so not to be overly concerned and see what next Saturday brings. I'm going to be extra vigilant points wise this coming week.
Finally end of the budget period and the new 4 week period starts tomorrow. Totting up at the end of week 4 I've come in with a £10.02 underspend which is brilliant as this means overall for the 4 weeks I've had a total underspend of £47.37, very pleased with this result£10.00 of this week's underspend has gone towards the August holiday.
Scores on the doors at the end of this week:
Emergency fund £3750.00/£10,000.00 - another £50 has winged its way to it today. Target is for £4,000 by the end of March.
VSP £116.55/£600.00 - target is for £150 by end March
August holiday £413.40/£1528.40 aiming to pay off another £65 by end March. Now the gas/electric has gone up I might have to alternate between this and the emergency fund.
Monthly Saver £2250.00 - this will finish in 3 months and is earmarked for new front door/front windows. Will start a new monthly saver straight back up though as this has made me save.
Tesco credit card £0 - all paid off.
Mr SA is proving resistant to spending money on a new front door/windows despite the fact they are at least 30 years old and well past their best. His quote "I'm not spending any more money on this house". Really?I should get a quote, even if I can only afford to get the door done that will be a start. It's not just a door it's a unit with bits at the side so quite big. The windows are the bays at the front so I know they won't be cheap.
Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

Forgot to say today has been NSD2 of March.
I'm reading a book at the moment I can't put down - Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman - it's brilliant and I'm racing through it. Bought 3 more books from the CS yesterday - 3 for 75p bargain
