All sounding brilliant, I like the marking/ colouring in squares idea...we do the same with a hard copy chart on inside of a kitchen cupboard door. It has ‘bricks’ representing our monthly mortgage payments. I even get the kids to colour it in sometimes...makes them realise what’s involved in having a home. Just hope it gets paid off early! Still gunning for 2023, but we shall see.0

And decluttering. Am going to do some yoga today and decluttering to salve my soul. Busy week and need to feel like the world is ordered and calm...well kinda :rotfl:0

Thanks Brizzle, I just need to keep it up.
Today has been another NSD, should've kept a count of these, will do next month. Will need to set some more goals for February. I'll be back at WW on Saturday so I'm expecting one of them to get back to goal weight.
I've identified another load of stuff in the spare room to be decluttered. Mr SA is being resistant to me getting rid of his weights. He rarely used them when he was well, they certainly haven't been touched for 7 years at least.
Have done next week's meal plan and will be trying 3 new recipes: carrot, butternut squash and ginger soup from the Deliciously Ella app, one pot quinoa chilli from a WW recipe using up some quinoa I've had in the cupboard for ages and another WW recipe gnocchi bake. The rest of the week's meals will be from freezer stocks. Mr SA's meal plan is nothing like mine and mainly involves meat and chips. He wouldn't touch anything I eat with a bargepole.
Hope everyone is having a good day. Weather started off lovely here but is gloomy and raining now.
One more day to cast off :jI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

No he couldn't Beanie. He's been looking at roofing jobs again on his kindle and seems to think he'll be able to go back to it at some stage. Reminded him his consultant said he'll never be able to work again. Also reminded him how much he hated roofing, in fact not long before he got ill he told me he'd had enough of it and how could he get out of it. Talk about be careful what you wish for.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Great that your financials are doing well. Sending good vibes for the cast coming off this week. When will you be able to return to exercise.
Could you sell the weights and give the money to Mr SA or is that a really daft idea.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0 -
Possibly could sell the weights, but that would involve people coming round, would rather just give to CS. It's not a daft idea though. Hoping to be back at Pilates on Wednesday and Insanity next Sunday but will check with hospital. Will catch the bus Wednesday to Friday but plan to be back to walking to work the following week. I want to get back to normal ASAP. I honestly can't wait. We take so much for granted.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Morning folks, happy Monday. Hello to Isitdoable
Last day of the cast :j This time tomorrow I'll be at the hospital. Thankfully Mr SA doesn't want to come with me. Now he knows there isn't a coffee shop in the fracture clinic he's not interested. To be honest he's a liability anyway as a nurse ends up having to push me in a wheelchair while he very slowly follows on my walking frame. My plan is to get a taxi there and the bus back anyway.
My manager is visiting me later on today with some vouchers and a present. Not sure why it couldn't have waited until I'm back, maybe it's to tick a health and safety box. Better remember to get dressed as I've been in my PJs for virtually the whole of the 6 weeks I've been off.
Payday on Friday, looking forward to doing some more money shuffling. CT free month so this will go in the August holiday pot.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
