That's Wednesday done
Well I thought for 99p even if I didn't use it much it's still a bargain. I was considering buying the actual book so it's saved me a few quid. :money:
Worked from home again today, hard to believe two weeks today, all being well, I'll be back there in the flesh and walking on two feet. On a real countdown now.
Had a reminder letter to rebook the bunion appointment. I had a look online and the only appointment was two weeks today which is far too soon. This is for the initial consultation not the op. Ideally I'd like to have it done towards the end of the year to allow my leg (and me) time to recover before I'm off my feet again.
Mr SA is still moping about saying he feels sick and has only had toast and a piece of banana loaf so far today. On the plus side he's not touching his beer stash, I haven't got to cook for him and he's going to bed early and leaving me in charge of the TV remote - every cloud and all that.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Morning folks. Another day another dollar
Feel a bit meh today, don't know why, just don't feel very motivated. Hopefully things will improve as the day goes on.

The weather and not being able to do much is bound to make you feel meh and that’s without Mr SA being factored into the equation...
When’s the next holiday?January spends - £587.580 -
End of April milann, can't come soon enough.
I think not having much to do work wise isn't helping as I'm having to keep logged on but there isn't much for me to do. Hopefully this will improve when I'm back physically. I think folks don't want to bother me at the moment.
So today has been a very low spend day of 70p on a newspaper. At least I'm not spending much being out of action. Mr SA tried to scupper this by insisting I order him a parka coat online. He's got loads of coats but apparently 'everyone' has got a parka and he wants one and he wants it now. As he never goes further than the park across the road and the local shops, quite who 'everyone' is I don't know. Finally made him see that a coat needs to be tried on, especially someone his size, which has pacified him somewhat. The trials and tribulations of looking after an adult toddler
Because Mr SA has been off his food I'm in danger of having to throw fresh stuff away which totally goes against the grain so I made a tray of roast root veg tonight and turned these into a stew with some veggie dumplings made from flour, yoghurt and herbs. Made two huge portions will have the other one for lunch tomorrow. Really niceI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Mr SA's tummy bug sounds like the one DH and I had, it's very debilitating and took me two weeks to get back to normal.
Sorry you feel a bit meh SA. I bet it's a combination of yukky weather and not being at work. Too much time at home with Mr SA would be liable to make anyone feel down! You'd better not retire  but just keep working forever :rotfl:.
I think the weather's going to be a bit better next week. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
