Why on earth do you tell him how much things cost? As my Dad used to say when asked that question his reply was always.. 'money and fair words'I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy0 -
I don't usually tell him Chrystal but he had to draw the cash out of the bank for me. I've not told him I spent most of the £40 though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Afternoon
DS and the GKs have been and gone. DS couldn't do the jobs for me as he didn't have his Allen key set with him. It involved him dismantling the treadmill and cross trainer ready to put outside for the council to pick up next week. Anyway we've decided to keep the treadmill and DS wants the cross trainer. Just need to let the council know not to pick up. To be honest I was in two minds what to do with them. There's nothing wrong with either of them just would've liked the space freeing up and they're too old/outdated to sell.
Weather gone back to being gloomy again after the beautiful sunny day yesterday. Making me feel down, not helped by the fact Mr SA is moping about still feeling sick
It's DD's birthday tomorrow, had to ask DS how old she is, I've lost count :rotfl: She's 33  Just put £20 in a card and bought her a bottle of wine. She's not one for celebrations and she's working tomorrow anyway, she's so much like Mr SA it's unreal, they're a cheerful pair (not).
Feeling a fair bit better today thankfully.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Your lunch with friends sounded great fun! As you wrote, you can't put a price on a good time. Getting out of the house and socialising has probably done you a world of good. I love having a natter with my pals over coffee, a meal and alcohol!:D
It is what is with Mr SA isn't it? He's never going to stop moaning about money spent that he has no input and doesn't include him, but at least you stand up to him and have a life outside the house. Well done you!:jFinally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Aw thanks SSG xx I'm an only child, fiercely independent and well capable of standing my own ground. Plus I'm a Leo
Thankfully Mr SA has had an evening meal of sausage and mash, at his request, and kept it down. Hopefully this means his bug is on the wane. Fingers crossed this is both our bugs on the way out.
Hoping for a quiet day tomorrow then back at work Monday, albeit working from home - don't plan to do too much just catch up on emails and stuff. I'm not going to go mad that can wait until I'm back properly.
So desperate to get back to normal now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
