Urrgh - don’t envy you that task SA. These nasty bugs really get a hold of folk when they catch it. Hope yours doesn’t get any worse.

Well I ticked off everything on my to do list. Decluttered another drawer in the bedroom and made a start on sorting out my huge folder of recipes cut out from magazines. Made a veggie lasagne for my dinner tonight from the Deliciously Ella app, made 4 portions so will freeze the other 3 plus it's ticking the try a new recipe box and I've finally got to use some of the nutritional yeast I bought ages ago :D Will have it with salad. Yesterday I made spicy red lentil and chickpea soup which is lovely and it's keeping me going for my lunches. I'm still taking the calcium and vitamin D tablets for my bone and I've finally stopped craving cheese.

Mr SA has been moping about all day and has been shuffling back and forth announcing whether or not he fancies a jacket potato for his dinner. He seemed to appear on the hour every hour like a cuckoo clock, one hour it was yes the next it was no. At the moment it's yes.

I don't want to tempt fate but I don't feel as bad as I did this morning so I'm hoping it's not taking hold.

What a horrible day today weather wise, wet, dark and windy.

Your resolution list is great SA and I think you're quite right to carry out these a little at a time rather than going gung ho and giving up halfway through January!

 to the episode of Mr SA and the throw! I hope his stomach has settled down now and he finally decided on a plain jacket potato!

Glad you're feeling better today too.

    Afternoon :)

In the midst of sorting out my recipe folder and listing them on a spreadsheet. If I can get quite a bit of this done today then I'll be happy, doing it bit by it so it's not too overwhelming. Anything I think I won't make will go in the recycling bin.

Mr S have sent me £5 off a £50 shop so that's where my online shop will come from next week.

Already decluttered another drawer in my bedroom.

Work rang and I'm starting back on Monday, working from home. I was sort of hoping they'd say don't bother but they seem keen for me to start back and I suppose it will ease me back in so when I physically go back it won't seem so daunting. I just feel so out of the loop at the moment.

Mr SA has had a relapse and went back to bed about an hour ago. I don't feel too bad, a bit chesty, snotty and a sore throat but it doesn't seem to be getting worse.

Have taken up a free trial of dog food from Tails where you just pay £2 for the P&P. If the dog likes the food it will be £17 every 30 days which is more or less what I spend now. It's a calorie controlled one as she needs to lose weight. I let her taste a bit and she likes it. Unfortunately so does the cat so I'll have to watch she doesn't pinch it.

Anyway back to the recipe cataloguing ….

Ugh - Mr SA has just been sick and upset tummy in the bed, on the carpet. Just spent ages going up and down the stairs changing the sheets, mopping and disinfecting. I wonder if he's got the Norovirus that's doing its rounds :(

So where was I - back to cataloguing …..

Oh dear! Clearing up again after Mr SA with your poor leg is not good. :( You're an :A. I'm glad you're feeling a bit better though.

The calorie reduced dog food sounds an excellent choice for your little friend. I hope she enjoys it. You'll have a sleek cat too!:)

    Have a good evening SA.

    Morning :)

Thankfully Mr SA has had a good night and not been sick. He was drinking flat cola last night and kept it down. It was so nice not to be kept awake by his snoring and constant going to the toilet which proves it's the beer that does this. He switched the TV on at 4am though which woke me up.

I'm full of cold this morning, very chesty. I find I feel worse first thing then feel better as the day goes on.

I need to finish cataloging the recipes today, would've got them done yesterday if it hadn't been for all the cleaning up.

    Hopefully today will be better.

Thankfully a much better day today, although I'm full of cold Mr SA is a lot better.

I've bought a yearly travel insurance for our holidays, not been able to do this for some time because of Mr SA's cancer but finally the insurance providers are allowing it. Paid £46 for the year for both of us which I think is good considering I've had to declare his brain injury. I've also renewed the EHIC cards as the old ones run out before we go away in April. Don't ask about Mr SA having to empty the recycling bin as the old cards had somehow got mistakenly put in there - I'd left them out on the table to remind me to renew them and they must've got mixed up with the recipe folder decluttering. Of course to renew you need the number of the old card.

I've finally finished cataloguing the recipe folder :D Picked a few new ones out to try next week. Also decluttered two more drawers in the bedroom.

Looking forward to meeting my friends for lunch tomorrow :)
