It's surprising how you can manage on one leg. To be honest I'm sort of walking on it taking care not to bear weight on it. It's different from when I broke my ankle as the bone is non weight bearing and doesn't really hurt.

I've also started a 30 day exercise challenge on an app I've used before. I'm only doing the exercises that are floor based though.

I know you'll all think I'm nuts but I can't just sit doing nothing until the end of the month. I've been like this all my life, I need to be busy. My mum used to say I was even constantly on the go in the womb.

Tomorrow I want to set some goals for January. Obviously the main one is to get back to normal.

  • Happy New Year SA, don't over do it with all the cleaning, I think you deserve a rest with your leg up and a large G&T in hand. xx

Finally emerged from the cupboard of doom. Been sorting it out since 11am more or less. It's done :j Looks so much better and I'm feeling very accomplished.

I think I've been overwhelming myself trying to do too much in one day so I'm just giving myself just one task a day to prioritise.

Replacement cast cover has arrived already. Brilliant service. Looking forward to testing it out in the bath shortly.

Tomorrow's task for the morning is finances and January goals. DS and the GKs are coming in the afternoon and we're taking the dog to the vets.

3 weeks already since the accident, it's gone quick to be honest.

Mr SA seems to think his man flu trumps my broken leg and has been unhelpful to say the least. I know I'm a fool to myself and should stand my ground but I would be starving by now if I did.

I'm only doing my goals one month at a time, I might sound pessimistic but there always seems to be something nasty around the corner for me to scupper everything. I'm sick of it to be honest. I just want a quiet few years now.

When I was decluttering the cupboard of doom I came across some old holiday photos from before Mr SA's illness and it was quite upsetting so just packed them back away. Although came across a photo of me from the 80s and my hair was about a foot high :rotfl: Even made DD laugh.

Presume Cornton Vale is some sort of home for the bewildered Beanie :rotfl:

DS and the GKs have been and they all accompanied me to the vets with the dog for her flea check. Dog needs to lose weight but they realise I'm a bit out of action at the moment to exercise her. Mr SA takes her out but she doesn't get the good run she gets with me.

Mr SA has gone to bed already, he's driving me mad with his sneezing and coughing. I'm praying I don't catch it, it's the last thing I need.

Looked at finances today and all is ok, cc is clear. Will post updates and January goals tomorrow.

Need to catch up on cleaning tomorrow - again.

TV is dire tonight, tried to watch that Masked Singer but lost the will to live, I mean !!!!!!
